The heavy rain poured from the dark grey, cloudy sky, washing the empty streets. From time to time a few roaring monsters passed by, but the running raindrops washed away the rumbling sound from earshot.

You were curled up in a deep sleep by the dark brown tabby's side. His thick pelt kept you warm in this cold rainy weather. Memories flooded to your mind, all kinds of questions whirled in your head. Does leaving was the right choice? What will be now? What will be with our kits?

You wished with all your heart that things could be different, way different than this. Why does StarClan let this happen? Doesn't they care about us? It wasn't our fault who we are born as, what our destiny promised for us...

The faint rays of sunlight brought you back to reality. You let out a tired yawn as you crawled away from Tigerclaw to scratch your exhausted legs. Time seemed to be paused, everything seemed so fake and unfair. You sat down to groom your P/C colored matted fur.

Around you were exiled ShadowClan cats, the ones that were the greatest followers of Brokenstar all rested here, but the cat they followed was now gone, held as a prisoner in ThunderClan.

You heard movement beside you and with a swift glance you noticed as Tigerclaw rose up to his paws, waking up the two little kits curled up next to each other.

The tiny clumps of fur padded with clumsy pawsteps to you.

"I'm hungry...", meowed Bramblekit with a pitiful high pitched meow.

"Me too!", squealed Tawnykit, snuggling close to you.

Your gaze locked with Tigerclaw's and you give him a helpless look. You glanced back at your kits who were meowing with hunger and cold. Tigerclaw padded slowly to you and meowed silently.

"We are moving to ShadowClan", he whispered but his voice was determined.

"ShadowClan? Would they welcome us?" you asked with concern for the tiny kits by your paws.

"I have a feeling we need to move there" he meowed with a louder tone now. "Somethings is telling me in my head..."

Days passed by days, the group of rouges moved closer to ShadowClan. It seemed like the new leader of the group was Tigerclaw, the cats listened to him and respected you too, knowing he was your mate. You heard as news about ShadowClan being in a great sickness spread across the group.

The bushes rustled as a patrol emerged from the shadows, carrying with itself a mix scent of crow-food and pine. The patrol contained of Rowanberry, Dawncloud, and Flitfang. Tigerclaw offered to help the clan out with the sickness, the warriors seemed wary at first before accepting the help of the dark brown warrior.

They helped with hunting patrols and borders, the clan seemed thankful for the help. Ambition burned in the ember eyes of Tigerclaw everyday. He clearly had a plan in his mind, a plan that shifted closer and closer to him with every single pawstep he took.

You felt a lot better living here by the oak tree, the prey was plenty here, and the ShadowClan warriors seemed to be in peace with the outsiders. The rouge group trained almost everyday, sharpening their battle skills while the curios eyes of your kits watched in awe. If only did they knew what real fighting looks like, all the blood stained claws swiping against the enemy.

The change to finally getting an offer to join the Clan seemed to be only a whisker away, but the slow passing of time made it way harder to reach it, even the long claws of Tigerclaw didn't hooked into it at first. But the former ThunderClan warrior had it all planed out, the shining amber eyes made it obvious.

Only a few more days to live by the oak tree, only a few more days left from the coming destiny of yours and your family's. But even though few days sounded like it was only a step away, it wasn't. Since those few more days continued with the vicious training of the rouges, patroling the borders and hunting for a Clan they were not part of yet.
