"How's the week been Alpha?"

"I didn't like it" I sighed and rubbed my eyes "it was hard"

"Tell me about it"

"Nyema pregnant. I'm happy about that but I don't think I'm healthy enough to have a baby right now. I mean we've been at this for 11 years and I'm still not better" I looked at him through my one good eye that Nyema claimed she loved. "I'm scared I'll fuck up this baby too"

"It will take decades for you to recover from what you did. You spent 7 years in hell fighting you're way out. That's not something you just forget or get over, but continue Alpha. "

"Zuri found her mate, it's her teacher" I rolled my eyes "Now she's leaving the house. I'm sure Infinity found her mate too. Nyema said something about keeping a open mind and she never says anything without reason. The kids are growing up and I don't like change. I missed so much in their life and now they're growing up and moving on."

"You understand that they won't be pups forever. In all respect Alpha. We're all mated to someone. I think you just have to start the process of accepting that they're growing up." He took his glasses off "Please excuse me if I'm stepping out of line but with Luna being pregnant now, this child can somewhat make up for what you didn't get with the triplets. Children have always been the ones who keep parents sane at their lowest, maybe you can use and raise this child to build you back up"

We spent the next two hours talking and I felt a bit better after our session. I always did after a session.

I got home and seen Infinity on the couch smiling and blushing at her phone. She looked up then ran over hugging me "Hi daddy, I missed you"

"I missed you too. Who you talking to?"

"Oh Alex. She was telling me about this party later. Told her I was going to ask?"

That was her asking. I chuckled and sat on the couch "You found your mate?"

Her face turned red then she got mad "I knew mom was gonna tell you guys" she huffed and flopped on the couch

"She knew?" I shook my head "Of course she knew"

"Oh no she didn't she um-Hey Imara!"

Imara came in the house shutting the door "Hey guys"

"Any luck?" I asked her

"They said they're gonna call, I filled out some more applications, I think I'll try a call center next"

Imara wanted to get a job but Montu was against it. He wanted her to stay under him all the time. Me and Daxon had to explain to him despite her being his mate and him (us) being able to take care of she needed her own independence.

"Why don't you use a little magic?" Infinity said

"No I want to do this on my own. I've been using my magic my whole life to get by. I just want to do something on my own you know?"

"Um no" infinity said "The last thing I wanna do is be independent. That's gross. Bills and Adulthood, Little pups to take care of. No gross. My daddy's will spoil me for eternity"

I looked at her and chuckled "And what about your mate?"

"I'll do what Montu wants to do with a Imara with him. Share my spoil. We'll get a house on the beach and run around.. with our wolves and love each other for infinity. See what I did there" She smiled at me "Brains and beauty"

Imara started laughing hard "You're so corny!"

"You are. I'm gonna go check on you're mother"

"Good she hasn't been feeling well today and daddy burnt her toast and soup. I heard her yelling at him earlier. She's only ate once since you've been gone"

"I'm surprised you kids did so well for 7 years without me. Daxon can't even tie his shoe by himself" I got up heading to the bedroom.

I walked in and the room smelt of sex. They were in the bed sleeping fully naked. I seen the burnt toast and soup on the floor and shook my head. I picked it up taking it downstairs then washing my hands. I made Nyema a turkey sandwich and cut some mangos up for her. I grabbed a can of Vernors and headed back up the stairs.

I walked over to her side and looked down at her beautiful body. Her scar from where she had the triplets was one of the many things I adored about her body. She was started to show already and I figured we only had 3 more months left, since she had the triplets when she was 17 weeks.

Her eyes opened and she smiled at me "Hey baby"

"Hey beautiful" I sat on the bed and started rubbing her stomach "I heard you only ate once since I've been gone"

"Yeah but I fed a few times" she grabbed a piece of mango and popped it in her mouth moaning and I handed her the sandwich. "I love you"

I kissed her stomach "I love you too. You want me to run you a bath?"

"I showered already. We just passed out when we got out"

Daxon started to roll over reaching over for Nyema "So when were you gonna tell me that you knew about infinity finding her mate?"

Daxon woke up looking at the both of us "What?"

"Huh?" Nyema said

"She told me downstairs" I tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear.

"What the hell? It takes us centuries to find our mate and they find them when they're still pups. This is bullshit" Daxon said huffing "Did she tell you what pack he's from?"

Nyema shook her head and kept eating then Daxon looked at me.

"No, but she said they were gonna get a beach house and she was gonna take care of him for infinity" I rolled my eyes and Daxon turned red

Nyema started laughing "That was funny whew. That girl got character"

She put the plate on the nightstand the grabbed the can. I took it from her and opened it handing it back to her and she glared at me.

"We do need to sit down and have a talk about her mate. You two need to understand that infinity can make her own decisions" she looked at both of us "And keep an open mind about it"

"Mhmm" Daxon said not listening to anything she just said "I'm about to go have a talk with our daughter" he got up putting clothes on "Damn mates. Fucking everywhere" he mumbled slamming the door.

"You lotion today?"

"No, I know you like to do that"

I smiled and grabbed her shae butter "You like me doing it. Daxon could've did it"

I started rubbing her stomach and hips, massaging her at the same time "Daxon burnt soup, you think ima trust him to do this?"

I started laughing then started on her thighs. I rubbed the inside of her thighs and she opened her legs giving me a look full of lust "I missed you today. I haven't seen you all morning"

I got up taking my shirt off and she smiled at me. I pulled her to the edge of the bed and got on my knees. I wrapped my arms around her back so she wouldn't move and before I could have my favorite meal I heard Matthews voice.

"We captured a Rouge. Daxon needs you down here"
