I was impatiently sitting in the office for a good 45 minutes before I decided to go ahead and go downstairs to apologize to Nyema.

I went downstairs and seen Nyema next to Mia waving her hands around going off. Matthew was standing in the corner with his arms cross.

He looked up at me and I nodded for him to leave. He grabbed Mia and they went in the kitchen.

I sat next to her "I'm sorry"

She crossed her arms "For what?"

"Taking my stress out on you" I ran my hand through my hair "I should be thanking you for helping the pack"

"But?" She looked up at me

"But you're pregnant and I want you and our baby safe before anything"

"You do realize our other kids where out there too. Your logic is very flawed"

I put my hand on her stomach rubbing it "I know, I just-I'm sorry and I love you and I want you safe"

She leaned over kissing me "I love you too, now go get me some food" she waved me off smiling.

I got up going into the kitchen. Matthew was kissing Mia with his hand around her throat while she sat on the counter and I cleared my throat.

Mia smiled "Hey Daxon" she looked at Matthew "I'm gonna go check on Lily and Zuri"

She walked out and I started to make Nyema a sandwich. "I heard you apologizing" Matt said

"Shut the fuck up"

"Hey, I apologize to Mia all the time. Even for shit I don't know what for. It's what men do we fuck up don't know what we did and we apologize"

"This was sincere. I've been acting like a dick lately" I shook my head "Zuri's getting married, Infinity found her mate that's a rouge, that I almost killed, that she hates me for." He chuckled and I glared at him "Nyema's pregnant and high risk. She hasn't even been feeding properly because I've been so busy. I'm just stressed"

"I get it. You're an Alpha but if I'm not mistaken Grey is also the Alpha of this pack" He eyed me "It would be nice to see you two working together again"

"I know. We just talked and he agreed to take over for a bit. I want you to watch him. He's not the same calm cool leveled Grey"

"Well yeah-"

Matthews eyes went wide and I heard Grey running down the stairs. Nyema only talked in her native tongue when she was seriously pissed off.

I turned around and she was tapping her foot with her arms cross and they were sitting on her stomach. She looked cute.

"There's somebody at the door for you" She said with a attitude.

I looked at Grey who's eyes were wide.

'Ana' I heard him say

It didn't help that the kids where down here, what the hell could she possibly want.

I walked past Nyema and seen Ana at the door. She looked shocked when she seen me and I understood why. She's human and didn't look anything like she used too.

Montu helped Nyema to the couch and the girls sat next to her. Lucien has a smirk on his face and I rolled my eyes.

I don't like him.

"Maybe we should-" Grey started but got cut off with a look from Nyema. "Nothing"

I walked to the door and grabbed Anas arm and about to shut the door "Uht un leave it open Daxon"

I looked at Ana and she looked nervous. I smelt death on her and worry "I uh seen you and Greyson got married." She waved at Grey and he turned around and went to sit with Nyema.

"What do you want Ana" I said irritated.

"I um I have cancer and I don't have long left. I was scared to tell you over the years but um" she looked nervously at Nyema "You have a son and well since I'm sick and don't have long. I need you to look after him"

I looked her up and down and shook my head "Well he's not mine so I don't know why you would ask me that"

She scoffed "We had sex two days before you broke it off with me, and the night that you did. Remember Matthew?" She looked over at Matthew

"Ana, listen. Sorry for whatever you're going through but the kids not mine. So please leave"

"Daxon please-" I shut the door and turned around to just Nyema, Matthew and Grey.

"You slept with her after you met me?" She said quietly and angry

"Baby I'm-"

She stood up "You slept with her the day we met?"

I seen red energy coming from her hands and Grey took a cautious step towards her "Nyema the baby" he said gently

"Then you just turned her away saying it's not your kid, but you fucked her!" She took a step towards me and Matthew took a cautious step towards her "You fucked her after we met! You knew I was your mate and you still fucked her! Twice!"

She ran towards me and Matthew went to grab her but only got himself thrown into the wall.

Grey stepped back and I looked at him for help. She formed a ball of energy and threw it at me making me fall throw the window.

I started coughing up blood and I got up dusting dirt off.

"I hate you!" She tried to walk to me but Grey grabbed her "Let me go! You knew! You knew and didn't tell me!" She yelled at Matthew "Ou san valè moso nan kaka!" (You worthless piece of shit!)

"If it makes you feel better, wolves can't get humans pregnant" Matthew said cautiously

She looked at him shooting daggers at him "No that does not make me feel better!"

Greys held her tighter as he whispered something in her ear. He let her go and held her hand. She looked at me and I started to walk to her but seen blood running down her leg.

"Shit. Matthew call Ross" I yelled
