"My dads stressed. That's why he's acting like a dick. He always acts like that when he's stressed or when-" I gagged making Imara laugh.

"I love your parents. They're so in love it's cute. I can see why they're her mates"

"Yeah they balance each other out" I picked up some more herbs tossing them in the basket. I looked up seeing Imara walking ahead picking up herbs "Imara" I smelt a vamp.

"Yeah?" She looked around the trees then at me nodding her head.

Vamps started to come out the trees and she threw a shield up but it was to many. They started breaking through and we both started fighting.

She was hitting them with gold balls of energy and I grabbed a branch breaking it in half and started killing as many as I could.

"I need you to grabbed dads and montu. We're being attacked. It has to be 40 or more vamps" I mindlinked my sister.

I heard Imara scream and looked over at her on the floor. Knocking vamps off of her while holding her neck with blood seeping though her fingers.

"Imara run!" I seen my sister running out then shifting.

Zach came out behind infinity followed by the rest of my family. Pack warriors came out fighting.

I didn't like the idea of my dad Grey fighting. Ever since he came home he struggled with anything involving fighting. Even training. It was a constant struggle for him. Our dad Daxon took on most of the responsibilities as alpha because he's had so many episodes of blacking out.

I shifted and started fighting as many as I could off my dad Daxon came grabbing them off of me then shifting. One of the vamps threw my dad into a tree. I looked around seeing more vamps coming out.

More vamps were coming out of the woods and piling on my dad Daxon. I started to panic watching pack members dying and everyone struggling to keep up.

I seen a black wolf running out and pulling vamps off my dad and snapping their necks in the process.

Infinity looked over and I knew it was Lucien. She focus back on fighting and I seen Montu throwing vamps around. He threw one to my dad Grey and he tore the vamps head off spitting it out.

Despite having help it was still to many vamps. They seemed to never stop coming.

'It's to many!' I yelled through the pack link 'we need to find a way out'

As soon as I said that I seen my mom coming out and I felt panic from the pack. I seen red energy coming from her and she started to focus it at the vamps.

All of the vamps turned to ashes. She held her stomach and sat down on the step.

"Move the pack to safe houses" she said holding her stomach "Go get everyone some clothes" she nodded to Montu

Nyema

I was feeling pains in my stomach. No doubt from using to much energy, but I wasn't going to watch my pack family die by vamps.

Montu came out handing everyone clothes and people were starting to shift back.

Dax came up with grey. Grey sat next to me and I started rubbing his shoulder.

"Are you fucking crazy Nyema?" Daxon yelled at me

I looked up at him "You were getting your asses kicked. If I waited any longer we wouldn't have had a pack"

I seen Infinity hugging Lucien and he was rubbing her back and pulled her face up to kiss her. I smiled at them and Lucien nodded his head at me.

They walked over "Thank you" Daxon said to Lucien shocking the hell out of us.

Lucien scoffed and shook his head "Trust me. It wasn't for you"

Imara came out wrapping a blanket over me "I cloaked it in healing properties. Hopefully it helps" she hugged me.

"Thank you sweetheart" I looked at the pack "I want everyone out of here by sundown. We leave together"

"Come on momma" Montu picked me up taking me in the house and sitting me on the couch. "Montu, make sure everyone packs light."

Daxon looked frustrated coming in while putting a shirt on "Nyema-"

"Daxon get you and your negative energy out my face"

Daxon glared at me before going up the stairs. Grey came sitting next to me "He's stressed"

"I know, I just don't know how he expects me to just sit back and watch our pack die and get hurt"

"He doesn't care as long as your safe" Grey kissed the side of my face "You know that"

"Can you please go talk to him? I hate fighting with him when he's like this"

He kissed my head "Okay"

Greyson

I opened our bedroom door seeing Daxon throwing random stuff in a suitcase.

"What?" He said angry

I shook my head emptying the suitcase "She doesn't like fighting with you"

"She's pregnant Grey! What she did out there was reckless! You know that"

"So she was supposed to just watch her mates and kids get killed by vampires? They kept coming Dax"

"I know! I just- I don't know what's going on" he sat on the bed "2 vampire attacks in 2 days" he looked up at me "Grey what the fuck is going on?"

"Why didn't you ask for help? This is why they're are two alphas and a beta. You don't need to do everything by yourself idiot"

He shook his head "You're still recovering from going through literal hell, you're better at taking care of Nyema than I am and Matthew doesn't have a clue on what's going on. We stayed up all night thinking of any possibilities"

I stood there thinking, while packing some stuff then it hit me "Jonas"

"What?"

"It might be Jonas"

"How? I thought you killed him?"

I sat on the bed "When we went into the" I waved my hand around "Whatever it was. Some of us dropped off in different realms since we had no idea where we were going. When I was fighting I seen him a few times but the last time he lost a battle, which means death. Certain death. I mean I got out, anybody could really. If they tried hard enough." I shrugged

"How do you lose a battle?"

"You fall, you die."

"What?" He looked at me shocked

"Each fight there was a guy standing in the area. You fall he decapitates you maybe guts you if you're lucky. Maybe Jonas got gutted. Got out got some help. That makes sense to me. When I got my eye stabbed one of the souls helped me luckily" I stood up "You need to apologize. I'll finish packing, give Nyema a few hours to calm down and think about what you wanna say, make things up with our mate before she dissipates you into thin air"

"What would we do without you?" He slapped my shoulder running out of the room.

"Daxon!" The door slammed and I shook my head "Fucking idiot."
