Chapter Three

{Akari PoV}

After we got seated by the waiter, I took out my phone and decided to wait for when we could order. "Damn Mina, did you really have to reserve a whole section of a restaurant for us?" She giggles and pats Kirishima's head. "Of course I did idiot! Plus, my parents don't care how much money I use as long as I tell them how much it was!" Kirishima sighs and shrugs. "I've never been to such a fancy restaurant before!" Denki was looking around at the several empty tables in the area Mina reserved. "Well duh, you only ever go to fast food places!" Mina laughed and Denki tried to hit her jokingly. "Hey it's not my fault I'm not rich!" I slightly smile at them. "It's alright guys, we don't need to argue about how much money we have." They sigh and nod while talking to each other. Several minutes later, the waiter had came and taken our order and was already coming back with our food. "Damn, that was fast! Are you sure it's cooked?" Denki questioned the food, despite it being hot and fresh. "I can guarantee that it's fresh, sir." Mina smiles and pokes Denki. "Trust me Kaminari, I've been here before so I know that they cook food fast!" Denki shrugs and starts eating his food. I look next to me at Todoroki, who's looking through a book he brought with him. "Are you gonna eat Todo?" He smiles at me slightly and puts his book away. "Yea, but I already ate before we came here because I hadn't known this was gonna happen." Bakugo scoffs and nudges him. "Just shut up and eat Icyhot." Todoroki sighs and starts eating and I laugh at them slightly, eating my food. Mina takes a drink of her soda and pokes me. "Hey Akari, are you excited for when we head to the mall after this?" I nod. "Yea of course! Didn't you also reserve the whole mall too?!" She giggles. "You bet your ass I did!" We both laugh and keep eating while talking to each other.

{Denki PoV}

While I'm eating I turn to Kirishima who's next to me and whisper. "So Kiri, when are you and Bakugo gonna tell everyone?" He sighs and takes a drink from his water. "I dunno, he really doesn't want anyone knowing, so we're probably not gonna tell most of the class." I frown slightly. "Plus Denki, it's not like everyone needs to know because I'm sure Mina's told all the girls and you know how quickly they'll tell the other guys." I nod and eat some of my pasta. "Yea, you do have a point." He turns to me. "Have you planned on asking Jiro out yet?" I nervously laugh with a slight blush coming across my face. "N-not exactly, I don't know when I should.." He smiles at me and jabs me in the arm. "Denki, you gotta have more confidence and be a little more manly, yknow?" I slightly smile back. "Yea, you've got a point Kiri, thanks bro." "Of course, tell me how it goes with you two. I've got my hopes for you bro!" We slightly laugh and keep eating.

{Todo PoV}

As I'm reading my book, I can't really stop thinking about what did actually happen to Akari. Was it a family issue? Could it have been that she got hurt? Was it the league's fault? I shiver slightly, it couldn't have been. I'm sure if it was the league, at least Aizawa or another hero would've noticed and saved her sooner. I feel someone shaking my arm, it's Akari. "Todo? Are you ok?" I nod slightly and smile at her. "Yea, I'm just thinking about stuff, that's all." She grins slightly and pokes my cheek. "What is it? Cmoooon tell me!" I slightly shrug. "It's really nothing important, ok Akari?" She sighs and taps my nose. "Ok fine, but keep eating. I'm sure you're still at least a little hungry!" She's right, I technically didn't actually eat anything since 10 AM, but that was because I was caught up in studying. I take a taste of the food, it's actually really good. I had ordered their specialty soup of the night with a creamy potato and white cheddar base with bits of broccoli and carrots in it. Surprised by the taste, I keep eating as Akari giggles at me for liking the food.

[15 Minutes Later]

{Mina PoV}

As everyone finishes up their foods, they all start conversations with each other. Todoroki and Akari are talking about books they'd been reading recently, me and Kaminari are sharing memes with each other while trying not to laugh out loud, and Kirishima and Bakugo having their own separate conversation that I can't hear. I look up from my phone to everyone. "So guys, are we all feeling ready to head towards the mall?" Todoroki nods, as well as Akari. "Aww hell yeah! You made sure tha-" "Yea Kami, there's a Gamestop" I smile at him and he jumps up, celebrating and hugs me out of excitement. "You're the best Mina!" I hug him back, smiling. "Yea, of course Kami!" Bakugo gets up, as well as Kirishima and the others. "So how far did you say it was?" Bakugo sighs. "It's not that far, trust me Bakugo." I grin at him, poking him. He backs away from me, standing with Kirishima. "Yea yea, whatever pinky." I smile at them all, leaving a $100 bill on the receipt of our food. "Come on guys, let's go!" I lead the way out and thank the waiter and greeter of the restaurant as we walk out. "So guys, do y'all wanna split up and we each go in doubles?" They all nod as Kaminari grabs my arm. "You, me, Gamestop, immediately!" I giggle and grab his arm back. "Yea Kami, Gamestop first." He grins and hugs me and I hug him back. "Me and Akari can stick together, I'm sure Kirishima and Bakugo were going to be together anyways, right?" Kirishima nods to Todoroki, holding Bakugo's hand. "Yep, me and Bakubro are probably gonna wander for a bit, so we'll probably take a little while to start shopping." I smile at them. "That's alright! I reserved it for a few hours, so we've got more than enough time to wander and hang out!" Bakugo slightly shrugs while holding Kirishima's hand. "Yea yea, let's try and get there faster though because you extras are so slow!" He runs past me and Kaminari, pulling Kirishima along with him. "Bakubro, slow down!" Me, Kaminari, Akari, and Todoroki laugh at them as we make our way to the mall.
