Summary: Perrie is five months pregnant and a bit possessive of her food. (Poor Jade)
"You ate them?!"
Jade stopped mid-chew, turning around to look at her clearly infuriated, pregnant wife.
She slowly wiped the corner of her mouth and prayed that she didn't smudge any chocolate on her lips.
But judging by Perrie eyeing the corner of her lips narrowly, she did a poor job at concealing her crime.
She turned around from the kitchen island, hiding the pack of chocolate biscuits from view. Biscuits that apparently, belong to one highly pissed, and five months pregnant, Perrie Edwards.
Yikes.
She tucked her hands behind her back, subtly wiping her fingers on her pants, and putting on an obviously guilty smile.
"Um... no?"
Perrie glared at her before stalking towards Jade and shoving her away from the kitchen island. A scandalized gasp resonated throughout the apartment, followed by skin meeting skin – Perrie slapping Jade's arm, making the brunette wince.
"You ate them!"
The empty pack of biscuits sat idly on the smooth marble surface, a few crumbs left, and a glass of water beside it.
Jade grimaced apologetically. "I'm sorry. I was really hungry."
"I've been saving that for tonight!"
"I didn't know. I'm sorry."
"I've been craving those for a week!"
Jade reached out a hand, hoping to soothe and apologize her wife, but Perrie batted her hand away and stomped her foot in indignation.
"I am so mad at you right now."
Jade flinched. In her defense, she honestly didn't know. She came home from a gruelling day of work, and was famished. Fortunately, she came upon a pack of biscuits in the cupboard and didn't second-guess eating the food – unknowing to the consequences of abating her growling stomach.
Ugh, Perrie was much more inclined with sharing food when she was still not pregnant.
"I'm really sorry, Perrie. I'll buy you new ones."
Perrie huffed. "It isn't the same!"
But Jade was already out the door, running to the nearest bakery. Only ten minutes later she appeared in front of the blonde again, two packs of chocolate biscuits held towards Perrie in a sheepish stance.
Perrie only glared before retrieving the packs, inwardly pleased but she wouldn't have Jade see she's already forgiven.
Jade quickly pecked Perrie's cheek before quietly muttering, "Sorry."
"Fine."
----A week after the ordeal, Perrie has taken to labeling her foods with, "Hands off! Or you wouldn't get any EVER again!" – which properly scared Jade into promptly gazing longingly at the pack of biscuits that Perrie has been continuously craving since she started her second trimester. She couldn't even sneak off a biscuit! For fear of Perrie having counted the treat prior to threatening Jade from eating it (she totally did).
Thus, Jade has taken to buying her own which didn't go the way she thought it will be.
It was a Saturday night spent binge-watching the latest show up in their queue, with the couple contently lounging on their comfortable and spacious couch – Jade resting her back against the arm rest with her body in line with the couch and Perrie between her legs, comfortably tucked against her shoulder and neck – and a pack of biscuits open on the coffee table which Jade bought earlier that day with all of the intention on devouring them all by herself, because Perrie already has her own pack. So she didn't really think to share. But as she eyed the half-eaten biscuit held between Perrie's fingers, she can't find it in herself to protest for fear of the moody blonde's reaction.
