Hii guys so i hope you like my first attempt at writing a fanfic.. I hope it turns out okay. x :)

As I see Caitlin pull up to my house I hear music blaring and I roll my eyes at the typical music she listens to. As I get to the car door she hands me a hazelnut latte and I get in the car she got for her birthday a couple of weeks ago.

"You realize I would die without you, right?" I say as I scratch in my bag for my lip gloss.

Cat looks at me while she pulls a pink tube of lip gloss and hands it to me, "You really need to get your shit together in the mornings. You're lucky I can read your mind."

"Oh my gosh thank you, I've lost about 50 tubes of lip gloss in the past week." I say as I apply the sticky liquid to my lips.

As Cat parks the car I grab my bag and prepare myself for what I'm going to say to the new people. I haven't been told much about them and all I heard was that they transferred here from London. I wonder why all five of them came from London? I guess Ill have to ask when I meet them.

"Shit!" I hear Cat yell as she drops her coffee while getting out of the car. "It almost hit my shoes!"

"Stop being such a drama queen and get your stuff, I have to meet the new people in 15 minutes." I groan as I walk around to her side of the car to help her with her things.

"Oh can I come with you for that? I don't want to be stuck in the senior orientation while you get to casually walk around the school."

"Definitely not, you have to tell me all the important stuff from the presentation and Katy wont talk to us if she's left alone with Britt." I say, trying to use my two best friends feud that happened over the break to my benefit.

"Ugh fine. I'll take your books to your locker, you go and get to the office Mrs. Student Council." Cat says, mocking my title of head of the council.

As I reach the office I go over how I'm going to introduce myself. Should I be formal or casual? Should I mention my title as head of the student council, or is that too forward? I reach the door and realize that I'm 5 minutes early so I sit outside the principles office and wait patiently.

"How do you get in trouble before the semester has even started." I hear a blonde haired boy say with a chuckle, obviously referring to me sitting outside the principles office.

"Uhm, I'm not, I'm, uhm–" I fumble for words at his bold remark.

"She is the person that will be showing you around and helping you for the first few days you are here so you might want to watch your mouth and say good morning." Mr. Haye, our principle, says looking at me. "And she's the head of the student council might I add." he adds, raising his eyebrows to the blue eyed boy who is now sitting next to me.

"I'm sorry, I'm Niall, very nice to meet you.. " he says, holding the 'you' obviously looking for my name.

"Alex, but you can call me Lex or Lexi." I smile in return to his now warm greeting.

"Alex you'll have to wait a while, the other boys are only coming from the airport now, they'll be about 3o minutes, is that okay?" M. Haye says.

"Yea sure, I'll just wait here with, uhm, Niall was it?" I say looking at the boy sitting next to me, seeing if I got the name right.

"Yep that's me." Niall says in return.

"Okay I'll be back when the rest of them arrive." Mr. Haye says and goes back into his office.

Sorry for the boring chapter guys! It's kind of a filler but I promise the next one is going to be more interesting! x :)
