So.. *sings* IT'S BEEN A WHILE BUT I STILL FEEL THE SAMMMEEEEE.
Okay no but really, it's been like a month and I'm so sorry for not updating but I've been going through some things and I just wanted all of you to know that if you ever need someone to talk to I am right here x :).
Harry turns up the heat in the car and I can finally feel my shaking fingers. I relive the past half an hour as i have flashbacks and the tears just stream down my face as I sit in Harrys car.
"Umm, thank you for picking me up." I mumble as I attempt to wipe my tears from my cheeks.
"So what happened?" Harry questions.
"He was sleeping with someone else." I choke out as I start crying again. "We've been dating for so long, we were going to be at the same College together, I mean we had a plan!"
"Sounds like you need something that I tend to enjoy very much when I'm sad." Harry smirks.
"I am not having sex, doing drugs or drinking." I reply to a now laughing Harry.
"No, I mean that stuff is fun, but this is better for you." He chuckles as we pull into a parking lot that has a huge sign saying "Diner-Open" in glowing red. We get out of the car and walk through the doors of the nearly empty diner, with the exception of an old couple in a corner booth.
"Behold, the best waffle fry place in the world." Harry says as we sit down at a booth.
"How would you know that? You haven't been in this country for very long." I reply, remembering he's actually new to this country.
"Just trust me." He says as a waiter comes up to our booth. "We'll have two large waffle fry portions."
"Thank you!" I add as he walks away and Harry laughs. "What? It doesn't hurt to be nice."
We sit and eat the surprisingly delicious fries and Harry makes a point of never saying thank you to the waiter as we walk out just to prove a point. I look at my phone and I have 7 missed calls from Jackson and I notice that its 9:13pm.
"Shit." I mumble as I remember my promise to be back home at 10.
"What's wrong?" Harry asks as we get in his car.
"I have to be home by ten," I say "And shit, do you mind taking me to get my car from RMU?"
"I didn't know you had a car?" He replies.
"Yeah, I got one today. Wait, why were you at RMU in the first place?" I question, remembering Harry driving out of the campus before I got in his car.
"What?" Harry replies.
"When you picked me up you were driving out of RMUs campus, why?" I re-word my question from seconds ago.
"Oh, uh, nothing important." He mumbles.
"Tell me." I press.
"Just drop it Alex." Harry spits. What is his problem? Just when I think he is being open and honest with me he does this.
We drive through the RMU gates and the parking lot is nearly empty. I spot my car right away and I tell Harry to park near the entrance of the building so that I can easily run in to find my keys and run out before Jackson sees me. I walk through the hallway of the dorms and I can't seem to find the keys anywhere. Maybe I should just have another set made? As I turn around I bump into someone.
"Shit!" I yell and I look up, afraid it might be Jackson.
"I'm so sorry, I'm extremely clumsy!" A blonde girl says and I instantly feel relived. I tell her not to worry about it and she makes her way down the hall and turns a corner.
"Looking for these?" A deep voice slurs from behind me. I turn as I see Jackson standing in the hall with my keys in his hand. Just seeing him still hurts.
"Yes I am." I say as I try to grab them but he reaches them higher, just out of my reach. Jackson isn't much taller than I am but there is no way I'm getting the keys.
"Uh-uh, you little missy, are gonna have to work for these." Jackson slurs. "Come on, for old times sake?" he laughs as he forces his lips onto mine and I easily taste the vodka.
"Get off of me!" I yell and I try to push him off but he is much stronger than I am.
"Come on, I just dunno how you're resisting." He slurs again and I almost vomit just at the sound of those words.
"Jackson get off of me! I will not have sex with you! Get off!" I scream as he pushes me to the floor and covers my mouth.
"Shh no one will hear you, they're all at a party." He laughs and I slap him. Before I know it his fist connects with my jaw and all I see is black. Through moments of vision I see the door to the hallway get kicked off its hinges but its too late to see anything else as reality fades away.

I slowly open my eyes and I see a nurse talking to Harry. A nurse? Harry? Where am I?
"Harry." I mumble and it hurts to talk. "Harry?" I call, a little louder this time and he quickly turns towards me and rushes over.
"Oh thank god, you're okay." He says as he sits down and indicates for the nurse to leave. "You're in the hospital. Its about 1am and I think you remember part of what happened back at RMU. Caitlin is on the way."
"What happened after he punched me." I want to know. I want to know everything that happened.
"I heard you scream and I tried to open the door but it was locked." Harry pauses and he seems to think, "Luckily I got the door open and got you out of there."
"More like kicked the door down and broke your foot in the process." The nurse walking in says with a chuckle, indicating Harrys foot in a cast that I hadn't noticed until now.
"Oh my god! Harry are you okay?" I say as I try to sit up in the hospital bed but it hurts too much.
"If fine, dont sit up, you had a 200 pound hulk on you so everything's going to be painful for a while." Harry says. "Besides, you'll make it up to me somehow." He says with a shrug.
"Yeah sure, I'll just break my foot saving you someday." I say with extra sarcasm and Harry laughs. Wow, his laugh is beautiful. I've never heard him genuinely laugh, it's always been when he's drunk or making fun of someone. Caitlin walks into the room and Harry almost instantly stops laughing.
"Lex!" Caitlin says as she runs into the hospital room. "Oh my god what happened, are you okay, what is happening now, is anything broken?"
"Calm down, I don't even know half of those answers." I say raising my hands up jokingly. I see Harry get up and walk towards the door.
"I need to get more x-rays done." He says and walks out. That was blunt.
"Why is he here?" Cat asks at a half whisper and a half yell. "Oh my god, he isn't the reason, is he?"
"No! Harry got me out of the mess!" I raise my voice knowing Harry wouldn't do such a thing.
"Okay calm down I was just asking." She says as my doctor walks in.
"Scott I've never been more excited to see you!" I say looking at Dr. Scott Williams with a huge smile. He's been my doctor since I was born, he was basically the first thing I've ever seen.
"Same to you kiddo, I haven't seen you in a while. You didn't do this just to see me, did you?" He says with a laugh and I shake my head slowly while laughing. "Well all jokes aside, you will have to stay here for about two weeks, depending on your recovery speed. You have a broken rib, dislocated shoulder and a fractured ankle." He pauses and looks toward Cat. "I'm sorry but I will have to speak to Alex alone, you can visit her tomorrow."
Cat walks out the room and I begin to grow worried but all I'm asked is if I need trauma counselor or I need to talk to anyone about the incident. I obviously refuse since I don't need it. He informs me that he's told Alicia and the school about where I am and that I mustn't worry. Great. I'm stuck here for two weeks with nothing to do.
