Six didn't actually know how the incident went. It was all a blur to her and it just happened too quickly for her to even comprehend what went down.
She remembered sitting on a bed with Seven in the Lady's room (The bed was comfortable cause, duh , it was the owner's room). Next thing she knew, she felt...hungry. Like she was being starved. The pain was no other as her stomach growled, soon her vision quickly went dark.
After that, it just...felt like a dream. A horrible, horrible dream. Familiar and frightening thoughts began swirling in her head, begging, pleading, screaming at her to eat, to satisfy the somewhat endless hunger.
She felt that she had grabbed onto something warm, something living. Worry about what it was, WHO it was , just flew over her head. Her mind occupied with the thought of sinking her teeth in and tear into the warm, squirming thing in her grasp.....so she did.
The taste of sweetness soon filled her mouth, teeth happily sinking in and grasping onto the flesh before ripping a chunk of it off. Voices were still screaming but one seemed to stand out, she couln't remember who it was, seeing that she was pre-occupied with satisfying her hunger.
Once she began chewing and swallowing bits and pieces of the delightful meal in her jaws was when her mind began to get more clearer. The voice was now louder, now more audible to her. After recognizing the voice did the sweetness in her mouth replace itself with the taste of rust.
She seemed to be kneeling on the ground in a small pool of blood. There was silence, only the sounds of shallow breathing could be heard. Her mind was still buzzing but her eyes focused on the person in front of her, the person who's breathing was getting shallower, the person who's eyes looked like it was drained of their bright blue color.
Seven
"Seven...?" Her voice came out hoarse, like her throat had suffered. She scanned his face, his pale skin, the tear marks on his cheeks. The bl--The blood
Eyes go wide at the smudge of blood on his right cheek, she felt her blood run cold as her eyes slowly made its way down to his neck---...it was okay. Eyes slowly making its way down to his chest then to the bleeding arm---
His arm. His arm. His arm.
"N...No...no no no no...." Tears began flowing from her eyes as Seven placed his left hand on her shoulder, squeezing it weakly as though to reassure her. Whats there to reassure her? How is she supposed to react to this? How is she supposed to stay calm in this situation?
She did this. She hurt him. She tried to eat him. She almost killed him.
"Seven...Seven I...Seven what--" Her mind was all over the place. Trying to find any reason about the whole thing. Whats there to reason? Its all in front of her in a bloody mess.
"Six I'm...fine...okay? I'll be okay..." He did his best to get her to calm down, but with how weak he responded, she just panicked.
One second was just silence then the next second, the anguished screams of a girl echoed throughout the room.
She pleaded for it to be a dream, begged for it to be a dream as she yelled out her cries. Blood splattering onto the floor from her mouth as tears and snot ran down her face.
Seven slowly crawled over to her, doing his best not to move his injured arm. He hugged his right arm close to his chest as he reached out with his left to have Six rest her head on his left shoulder. He didn't speak, too tired to do so, he just let her wail into his shoulder. Her hands flailing around as she tried to get a grip on him. Her grip came on and off, sometimes gripping too tightly before quickly letting go the moment she felt that she was hurting him even more.
It was supposed to be a good, relaxing day. It was supposed to be a day with Six and Seven enjoying each other's company. Both lovingly gazing at one other as they chat about their lives and their future.
Little did they know that their wishes of a normal morning was heard by deaf ears. The warm atmosphere quickly dissipating into something cold, something suffocating.
Old habits die hard, huh?
