What if instead of dying, our little blue sweater friend ended up surviving? He didn't survive per say but what if he became a shadow?
A shadow who looked like a child...a shadow who retained their past memories instead of becoming mindless soldier...
It was a relaxing day for Seven, mainly cause its his 2 day free day. Today is the first day of said 2 days so he wanted to spend the first few hours of it with Six. He'll spend time with Kyra in the evening since he tends to stay awake late due to his part shadow self. Also cause Kyra liked being in the dark, maybe cause she's also a shadow too.
Being a shadow had its perk really, one of them being him having somewhat 'enhanced' strength. He doesn't exactly know the limit of it and he'd rather not find out.
One of the downsides to it is that he tends to not be able to sleep even if he has a schedule for it. Then again, he'd end up sleeping a few hours after 8pm so that was nice.
Sleeping schedule aside, he was enjoying the first few hours of his free time with Six. They would talk about almost anything, though he guessed that he was too distracted to notice the small drop of saliva from the girl's chin.

He was just having so much fun spending time with her that he didn't even know the little hints of what's to come. The slight heavy breathing, the glowing eyes all went unnoticed.
Nothing prepared him for what was about to happen. Seven thought he had already escaped the predicament before but the world looked at him and said 'lets have him experience it again'
The growl came moments later, his body immediately freezing at the noise as his fight or flight senses came to a quick halt. He felt like a sitting duck who's about to be devoured by the predator that was right in front of him.

One thing led to another and before he could even get his bearings, Six lunged at him. Her arms outstretched to grab him, and shove her teeth into him. In a panicked state, he couldn't fight her off properly.

He saw her mouth open wide, ready to bite down on SOMETHING. Seven didn't want to take any chances where she aims for his neck so he decided to raise his right arm in front of her waiting jaws and--

The pain was unbearable, she was chewing, chewing , without even letting go of his arm. Then she tore the flesh off, making the boy scream out in pain. His vision darkens but only for a moment, he quickly lowered his right arm in hopes to keep the bleeding to a minimum. He glanced at the girl and watched her enjoy the meal within her jaws, seemingly delighted by the food presented to her. He can't survive another bite from her.
"SIX! SIX SNAP OUT OF IT!" He called out desperately in hopes to get her mind to clear up. Seven needed her to hear him, to notice him, to notice what had happened.
His voice became weaker the more he tried to yell at her. Then as if by some miracle...her hunger filled eyes were now back to its ruby colored self. Her eyes were scanning him, she looked so...confused...so scared.
"No..nonononono.." she started panicking as the situation began sinking into her head. He wanted to reassure her, wanted to show her that he's okay.
"Seven I...Seven what---"
"Six I'm...fine...okay?" He tried to reassure her "I'll be okay," the state of his voice didn't exactly help with calming her down.

She just broke down crying in front of him, she was a mess, he was a mess. Everything about this situation is a fucking mess.

As he tried to comfort her with his actions, he can feel himself blacking out. He did his best to hang on but right now, his body is in need of immediate care and attention.
