A crisp raindrop flicked off the cordate blade that crawled down it's bole engulfing it in a loving hug. As each spume stumbled down from the ether colliding with one and other gleefully, the torpid folioles awoke from their doze hearing the pattering mizzle. Every leaf shivered as their proximity with each raindrop increased. They turned away their petioles growing shy of the rain's mischief. The vines clutched on to their branches tightly, groaning as their slumber was interrupted. Chains of  breeze carried the raindrops to their dearest as the sky twinkled in glee.

A family of birds embraced one and another tightly for warmth as they stared at the sky that grinned at them. A small lemur rested it's head on it's mother chest enjoying the morning hustle of the city. The air was filled with love.

Amidst the sanguine aurora, a channel of vehicles paced through the wet roadway trying to avoid congestion. Whilst every wheel wrestled to lead the way, two pairs of wheels calmly stood amongst the fuss, waiting for the road to clear.

Ashwin gripped on to the steering wheel nervously as he felt sweat build up in the inside of his palms. The corner of his eyes darted towards Sivaangi who sat beside him staring outside the window with a face drained of emotions. A tint of guilt washed over his face followed by frustration hearing the honking of the vehicles.

As the route slowly became free of chaos, Ashwin's car made it's way to find reality...

.........
The car halted in front of a mansion that went by the name "Krishnakumar Illam". Ashwin's stomach churned anxiously as the couple stepped out of the car. Sivaangi shut the door with her gaze fixed on the pavement. Glancing at Sivaangi, Ashwin sighed and they walked together to the entrance.

Binni: SIVAANGI!!!!

Binni ma rushed to Sivaangi excitedly skipping down the stairs. Sivaangi was engulfed in a hug but her hands stayed on her sides not reciprocating the hug.

Binni ma pulled away and caressed Sivaangi's cheek. She smiled at Ashwin and dragged the couple to hall yelling for her husband. She sat the couple down and sat beside Sivaangi.

Binni ma: Yeppdi Sivaangi irruka? Naan unna romba miss pannen, nee vandhadhu le romba sandhosham!

Sivaangi just stared at the floor while Ashwin gave Binni ma a light smile. Not receiving Sivaangi's usual joy, concerned filled Binni ma's eyes. She lifted Sivaangi's chin with her fingers.

Binni ma: Yenna da aachu? Yen oru maari irruka? Veetla yethavthu prechanaiya Mapla? She turned to Ashwin for an answer.

Ashwin: Athellam onnum illa athai...

Binni ma smiled as she turned her head to her husband who briskly walked down the stairs. A smile spread across her face.

Binni ma: Paaru..Appa vandhutaaru. Unna romba miss panaar...

Sivaangi closed her eyes tightly hearing her mother's words. Her fingers fiddled with the sides of her dress. A painful sadness spread across her chest nearly chocking her.

Krishnakumar: Sivu kutty...Appa kitta vada..

Sivaangi slowly got up and lightly smiled at her dad. He hugged her and she reclined her body into his comforting embrace. He kissed her head and smiled at her. Her pale face irked him.

Krishnakumar: Yenda mugam oru maari irruku? Yenna aachu?

Ashwin: Onnum-

Sivaangi: Ashwin...podhum...Ap..pa, athu vandhu unga kitta konjam pesanum...

Krishnakumar: Yen kitta pesa yenna thayakam...sollu...

Sivaangi: Naan...naan vandhu...

Ashwin: Sivaa-
