💛[Apprentice Attendant]💛 (Pt. 2)

     You watched as kids rushed in. Most of them having cute party hats. Some brought blankets and stuffies, leaving them in little cubbies with their names under them. Thankfully they're supervised by a security bot so no one touches others things. Sun had already begun entertaining the some of the kids. You looked around, not knowing where to start until someone pulled on your skirt/pant leg. You bent down to see a little boy with dirty blonde hair and brown eyes. He wore a black shirt and tan cargo shorts with black sneakers.
     "Hello little one, what's your name?" You began to say as you sat down on your legs.
     "L-Lui," he stuttered gripping his Moon plushie. Noticing this you spoke up,
     "Will you be staying the night?" He nodded gently. You watched is he built up his courage.
     "I haven't seen you here before miss," he said slightly swaying. You giggled,
     "This is my first day, I'll be here till close as well, and call me (Y/n) hun," you smiled. He gasped,
     "So you haven't met Moon?" Your curiosity spiked and you shook your head.
     "He's the best! I'm special though, because he only sings to me! Maybe he'll sing to you! I'll share." He said matter of factly. You giggled,
     "Thank you!" Lui took your hand and began walking towards the ball pit. A little girl ran up to the two of you. She wore a pink and white striped jumpsuit and pink light up sketchers. Her hair was a dark brown, it being tied up into two space buns.
     "Hello Lui!" She spoke happily. You let go of the boys hand and let him walk up to her, you following behind.
     "Hi Cherry! This is (Y/n)! She's going to be working here from now on!" Cherry walked up towards you and smiled,
     "Hello (Y/n)!" She waved at you. You waved back and smiled.
     "I'm going to go check on Sun, I'll be right back. You two go ahead and play if you like. Remember to put your things in your cubby Lui!" You said walking in the direction of Sun. They waved and began climbing up one of the jungle gyms.
     You walked up to Suns happily. Kids looking at you with pure curiosity. Suns spotted you and put his hand on your shoulder. He pressed a button on his neck and cleared his non existent throat. You felt vibrations go through the ground as sound surrounded you. Once the kids were paying attention he began speaking while signing.
     "Good morning children! We're going to have an amazing day! But before that, I'd like to introduce you to our new playmate! Everyone this is (Y/n)! They'll be here every other day from open to close! Staff decided we needed more hands on deck! So everyone give them a warm welcome!" His voice rang loudly over the speakers. You watched his hands mostly. Picking up on a few of the signs. (Boom, now you know sign, well, fictionally.) The children cheered loudly and began playing again. Lui and Cherry ran up to you excitedly.
     "Now everyone knows you!" Cherry spoke up first.
     "From all the cheers it sounds like they like you too," Sun nudged you gently after flicking the off switch on his neck. Hearing that made you bounce on your toes.
     "Well let's not waste any of this lovely day! Let's go play!" You spoke in rhyme as the children along with Sun giggled.

     It had been about two hours and you were taking a small snack break. All the kids were out in the cafeteria, most of their parents on break. You and Sun watched the kids that didn't have their parents with.

*Flashback*

     You were strolling past one of the benches until you spotted a little boy about to eat a whole grape. You didn't hesitate before running over to the kid and gently took it from him.
     "Here sweetie, let me cut these up for you okay?" You grabbed a small plastic knife from your apron and began cutting them up. Sun watched from the side, a weird feeling growing in his chest. Watching your responsible personality kick in made him enjoy your presence even more.
     "There you go!"
     "Thank you!" You ruffled the boys hair as he began eating the sliced grapes. You tossed the plastic knife in the recycling and looked up noticing a pair of feet in front of you.
     "Oh! Sun! What's up hun?" You winked rhyming once again making Sun chuckle and blush.
     "Just wanted to tell you you're doing splendid!" And with that he walked over to a fussy kid. A small smile played on your lips.
