     You could hear the echo in the quiet pizzaplex as you walked. Turning on your flashlight, you scanned the area. You sighed after taking a deep breath. So far so good.
     Maybe you weren't supposed to be here, just maybe you left something behind so dear to you you couldn't abandon it. Your breath hitched in your throat as a security bot zoomed by. Once you calmed down you scrambled onto your hands and knees. The last place you could've left your charmed bracelet was the daycare, since you'd been watching your younger sibling.
     The bracelet was one of a kind. Your grandfather had always been the crafty type. He had given you the moon and crescent charmed bracelet for Christmas, 6 months before he passed away. The bracelet was a chain one, with moon and crescent charms outlined with a gold coating, a beautiful galaxy resin formed the design of the moons.
     You brushed off your jeans, standing up, and taking a deep breath. Just think of it as hide and seek, you were especially good at this game.

     You made your way to the daycare, occasionally ducking under tables, or hiding I'm small spaces. Suddenly a flashlight shined on you, and a loud alarm blared from the bot. You looked around in a hurry before spotting the daycare, and sprinted to it. Surely security wouldn't get there in time.
     You gasped as you went down the slide, directly into the ball pit. The loud splash made you stay under for awhile. You shook and held in a raspy breath, all of this for your bracelet. You placed your hands over your eyes and let out a quiet sob. Was it even worth it? What if you don't find it? Or even worse, get caught. You couldn't lose that bracelet.
     You held your breath and stiffened when you heard a shuffle in the ball pit. That definitely wasn't you. The shuffling got nearer until you spotted a red glow.
     "It's passed your bedtime darling~," A hushed voice whispered. You squeaked when you were plucked from the ball pit. You looked up at your capturererer (yup) and relaxed slightly. It was Moon, one of the daycare attendants. You hadn't exactly met him, but he was meant to care for kids, surely he would understand. Well, besides the fact that you are an adult. The animatronic tilted his head,
     "Firefly? Why the tears?" Moons voice calmed you down, your breathing becoming more even.
     "You have to help me Moon! I lost my bracelet!" A finger made its way your lips as a way to hush you. Moon chuckled quietly,
     "You'll have to be quiet if we don't want to get caught~," you beamed at his words. He held you and walked over to the edge of the ball pit and set you down. You bounced happily as he stepped out. He looked down at you and gave you a small smile.
     "Where did you last have your bracelet?" You held a hand to your chin and thought deeply.
     "Well, the first place my brother and I went was the play place." Moon let out a slightly louder laugh,
     "You went in the play place?" You blushed and crossed your arms, turning away from him.
     "I hope you know I had fun," the moon just chuckled and grabbed your sleeve, dragging you towards the play sets.
     You both decided to split up and search 2 play sets each. You gave moon a description of the bracelet and you were on your way.
     "Ugh all the wires!" You groaned unwrapping the wire from your foot. You stopped when you heard distant thumping.
     "M-moon?" The thumping continued, making you slightly irritated, but still fearful.
     "I swear, Moon if that's you I will ne--,"
     "Boo!"
     "AHHH!" A high pitched squeal resonated from your throat as Moon laughed. You punched his shoulder and glared at him.
     "We're supposed to be quiet!!" You whisper yelled.

     You grumbled angrily as you and Moon exited the play set. A heavy hand placed itself on your head.
     "Don't worry Firefly~, now, where to next?" You glanced around thoughtfully. You pointed towards a reading comer.
     "There. We got tired after awhile and we wanted snacks," you giggled at the memory. Moon smiled at you, though you didn't notice. He noticed whenever you thought, you'd glow a little when you'd figure something out. That's why he called you Firefly.
     You dragged Moon over to the reading corner, then started searching under pillows and blankets. Moon helped by shaking the blankets and pillows, making sure none had gotten strapped in them. Moon sighed heavily,
     "I don't think it's in here darling~.." You stood up and cracked your back.
     "I agre-," you were cut off by a loud rumble from your stomach. You glared at it angrily. Moon chuckled and patted your head lightly.
     "Im pretty sure we have some animal crackers and vanilla pudding left~," Moon said in a sing song voice. Your mouth practically watered at this.
     "Yes please!"
      You happily swung your legs back and forth, carefully dipping your animal crackers in the pudding. Moon watched and smiled lovingly. He was a pretty bad attendant huh? He couldn't help it. Sun got to have all the fun with them.
     "How is it Firefly?" You turned to Moon and swallowed.
     "It's interestingly enough, a very nice combo," you insisted as you took another bite. Moon chuckled and stood up, the bells on his wrists jingling slightly. You watched the tall animatronic as he stretched. It made you wonder why people were so frightened of him.
     You finished your snack and threw the garbage away.
     "Now! Back to searching!" Moon nodded and he followed you to the next area.

   I'm  You watched the Moon animatronic dive through the ball pit, yes glowing red eyes searching carefully. You waited on the ledge, watching Moon pop up from time to time. It never failed to make you giggle. Moon loved the sound.
     Moon shuffled over to you and rested his elbows on the ledge, head in hands.
     "I don't think it's in here either darling. I scanned the whole bottom." You sighed, a lump forming in your throat.
     "I need to find that bracelet Moony.." Moons circuits skipped, his face growing warm. He watched as tears built up in the corners of your eyes. He carefully grabbed your hands with his and looked at you softly.
     "We will find it, don't you fret my little Firefly," Moon cupped you cheek gently in his hand. You sighed and rested your cheek against his hand, letting a tear slip. He wiped it away, a tight feeling in his chest. You whimpered as he pulled away, missing the warmth. Moon only chuckled and grabbed your hand again.
     "Are you sure there isn't any other place it could be?" You thought long and hard. Where would it be? Surely you didn't stop anywhere else-- you gasp and tug Moons hand.
     "The cubbies!!" You stood up and pulled Moon to the direction of the cubbies.
     "Alright, let's go," Moon commented as he got out of the ball pit. You hastily dragged him to the cubbies and began searching.
     "Do you remember your cubby number?" You glanced up at the Moon and shook your head sadly. He tested a hand on your head and ruffled your hair.
     "Don't worry, we'll check all of them."
     And that's exactly what you did. You started off with the first 20 while Moon covered 40 of them. Your frustration only grew when you couldn't find it.

     "Aha~!" You perked up and looked at Moon, rushing towards him. You tried to peek around him but he kept the item he held concealed. He stood up and turned towards you, holding up your charmed bracelet. You gasped and grabbed it from him gently. You smiled and slipped it on, a tear or two streaming down your face. You looked up at Moon and hugged him in a tackle.
     "Thank you so so so so much!" You squeaked, hugging him as tight as possible. Moondrops cheeks heated, his faceplate growing warmer. But he didn't hesitate to hold you close as you thanked him. You gently pulled away and wiped your eyes.
     "I think it's time to go home my little Firefly, come again, yes?" You beamed at him and nodded your head yes.
     "As long as I get to see you!"
