Pepa
"Hey Julieta?" I asked her cause I had an idea "Yes Pepa?" Julieta said while cleaning up after breakfast. "What if we took the kids on a hike? Ya'know, to get out of the village for once?" I said looking at my sister. "Thats a good idea , Pepa! And we dont have to worry about unexpected weather." Julieta smiled "I'll make lunch and pack it, you tell the kids to get ready, were leaving at 9:00 (its 8:12am) ." Julieta said grabbing a basket and ingredients for lunch.
I walked out of the kitchen and walked upstairs, hmm I should start with Antonio! I knocked on mis hijos door and he opened it, "Yes mami?" Antonio said peering out the door. "Do you want to go on a hike, Antonio?" I asked opening his door wider. "Only if the animals can come." Antonio said looking at his animals who were behind him. "Of course they can come, mi amor" I said as Antonio walked out of his room with some of his animals.
I got everyone together and did a headcount, I silently whispered to myself. "Ok so, Julieta, Félix, Agustín, Bruno, myself , Isabela, Luisa, Mirabel, Dolores, Camilo, and Antonio! Ok everyones here except mamá (Abuela)" She didnt want to come because shes to old haha.. anyways! "Julieta you got the food?" I asked just to be sure, and she did so we set out walking into the forest.
Julieta
We began walking, it was calm for about an hour, we had to climb a few rocks and hills but nothing to difficult! But eventually we came across a broken bridge, the bridge we needed to continue.. "Do we have to stop here?" Antonio asked "I dont see a way acr-" I said being cut of by my daughter, Isabela saying, "I see a way!" She used a vine, picked up her cousin, Camilo and throwing him across. "You could've warned me first!" Camilo yelled across. "Well to late now catch this for me" Isabela said throwing a vine to him, Camilo caught it and Isabela made a sturdy flower bridge. "Weve been walking for 3 hours now, And I think its time for a lunch break!" I say laying a picnic blanket down and sitting. "Good idea mamá!" Luisa said sitting down aswell, followed by everyone else. We ate the arepa's I made healing any cuts they may have gotten. Finishing them quickly.
"Should we keep walking?"
