Memory Log 001: The Human "Heart"

Hello, my fellow Kamen Rider fans! For those of you who are looking at the picture I just put up for this chapter, no, Yang will NOT lose her arm, and she will NOT be framed by Mercury! Sorry, I really love the show, but I just hate it when my favorite characters get blamed for something they didn't do and get separated because of the chain reactions caused by it.

Anyway, that's just my fan-self talking, without further ado, let the chapter begin!!!

It was a bright morning in the island of Patch, in a house that was the home of the Xiao Long—Rose—Branwen family, a blonde-haired girl with lilac eyes wakes up in her room panting as she had seen a dream where there were flames and smoke, a battle had been going on, and in the middle of it, stood an armored purple warrior that had an odd belt on his waist and carried a bow-like weapon in his hand as he looked back at her. Her name is Yang Xiao Long, the half-sister of Ruby Rose, shared daughter of Taiyang Xiao Long, Raven Branwen and Summer Rose, who is Ruby's mother, and the girlfriend of another resident in the house.

"That dream again...." Yang muttered, it had been happening for four weeks, in her mind, she regretted having to stay up watching a superhero movie with her sister, but did it because it was Ruby's birthday back then. Within the lens of the helmet, she can tell, there was loneliness and a desire to seek out a light that can give him peace. The question was, why did she feel so familiar with that person in the suit?

"Yang~! Breakfast's ready!" A gentle voice called out to her.

"Kay! Coming, Mom!"

In the kitchen, a woman who had  silver eyes, fair complexion, and graduating black-into-red hair just like Ruby, but her shoulder-length hair was tied back in a half-up/half-down style, was cooking some clam chowder while her sister-in-law who was a beautiful noirette with raven hair and had red eyes was drinking her cup of coffee.

"Morning!" Yang said as she came downstairs with a smile.

"Morning, Yang." Summer smiled while Raven greeted, "Morning, little dragon."

Yang pouted at her birth mother's teasing words, while she was glad that she was back with her step-mom, father and uncle, she didn't like it when Raven called her little.

"Mom~!"

"Where's Ruby?" Raven asked her daughter. Before Yang could reply, a comical crash was heard as the three women were startled by the sound.

"Sorry!" A bubbly voice echoed, "I fell onto the floor! Again."

Coming down the stairs was a girl fifteen years of age, she had the same hair and eye color as Summer, but her hair itself wasn't tied.

"Morning, Mom! Morning.....Mom?" Ruby said in a confused way as Raven chuckled, "Just call me Raven if it's easier."

"Oh, okay!" She said with a smile as Summer set the bowls down as Yang asked, "Where's Uncle Qrow and Dad at?"

"They're off doing some Huntsman business," Raven answered as she dipped her bread into the chowder before eating, "They'll be back as soon as a certain someone gets seconds." She gestured to Ruby who was eating her food like no tomorrow as she comically squeaks as she was caught eating fast.
