It was a bright day in the west. Tumbleweeds were bustling, a hawk cries out as he flies in the sky, and two young men were walking about.
Who were they, you ask? None other than—
"You're sure we're on the right track, Tai?" Heart asked as he was in western clothing in a mixture of Mexican and American style while Tai was in cowboy clothing as he smirked proudly, "Of course! My western sense never goes wrong!"
Heart comically sighed as until he was greeted by the sight of blonde hair and lilac eyes, "Feeling bummed, babe?"
The young Rider smiled as he replied to his fiancée who was also in western female clothing, "Well, a little bit. But, at least I'm not sitting my butt on the chair all day drinking alcohol unlike a certain somebody right here." He gestured to Qrow who was drinking from his canteen as the gruff man replied, "Kid. When you get to my age, you'll understand the burdens of being a grown man."
"I think I'll understand it when I do become a grown man and when I don't drink, thank you."
The male Branwen harrumphed as he took a swig of his drink while Heart brought out his own canteen which was circular and had water. Seriously, who in their right mind would drink beer in the middle of the wilderness of the wild west?
Yawl are probably wondering: Why ARE they out in the west? Well~!
A few days ago...
"A hunting trip?"
"Out in the west?"
Heart and Summer asked Tai as he nodded while eating some chow mein, "That's right! And all of us are going to enjoy every second of it!"
Yang blinked, "Dad. It sounds cool and all, but, what are we hunting, exactly?"
"Apparently it's bison and big predator season this year." Raven explained, "Biggest game to hunt since three years."
Now that got Heart's interest, if there were bison to hunt, then surely there had to be a rare one for this season to hunt.
"Say we do go on this hunt..." Heart began as Tai nodded, "Uh-huh."
"If we find like, say, a herd of a bison, there's likely a reason to hunt them?"
"Yeah. A big White Bison. Said to be impossible to kill."
"Huh. Interesting..." Heart pondered as he ate an egg roll, "Alright. I'm in, so...what about you guys?" He asked the rest of his soon to be in-laws.
"I've been thinking of eating some bison meat. Thickest and juiciest meat when cooked, but, really, I just want to hunt one of them predators, a bear would do nicely." Raven said while Summer chirped, "I heard that there's some nice dresses~!"
"Good beer." Qrow replied as Yang smirked, "Heard that they got some nice hotels, Heart~~"
Heart blushed while Ruby pouted, "Yaaang! This isn't a honeymoon!"
