Cass' POV
"It was all a dream," said Biggie Smalls.
"Biggie?" I asked, confused as to why he was here.
"What? It's Gabe. You sounded distressed, and apparently you're delusional. So if you want me to go...?"
That dream pretty much explained my feelings towards Dean, but I didn't know what to do. Which means I had to tell Gabe.
I took a deep breath, "Gabe, well, um, I guess, uh, I'm, uh, kinda maybe not straight?"
"I know, and Sam owes me ten bucks, hold on, let me text him."
"Wait, what? What do you mean Sam owes you ten dollars?"
"Well, yeah, about that, so Sam and I might've made a bet. I said you'd come out to me first, he said you'd awkwardly ask him about Dean and Dean's feelings." Gabe explainned. At least Gabe had the good grace to look ashamed.
"You were betting on my feelings?"
"Not exactly.. we were betting on when you'd express them."
I sighed, remembering my current predicament, "Awe, Gabe, what am I gonna do?"
"Well, my first piece of advice is to confront your feelings at the source. Meaning talk to Dean."
"What? No! Why would I do that? Dean is the epitome of heterosexual."
"How heteronormative of you, my dear brother, never assume. Oo! Do you wanna go all elementary school and have me ask him for you?"
"Noooo." I paused, "Wait would you really?"
"No! C'mon dude, just ask him. What's the worst that could happen?"
"He could be just like Michael."
Gabe gave me an exasperated glare, "If you really think that's a possibility, then why are you hanging out with him?"
I sighed, "I don't, but I don't want to ruin our friendship."
"Now you're just making up excuses. Start out by coming out to him. Gauge his reaction, then decide what to do next."
"Gabe, you're a genius! I'll talk to him now!"
"I'd suggest you wait another few hours, seen as how it is four in the morning."
Gasp. Then I woke up. But for real this time.
I have had an epiphany. I must tell Dean about the feelings that I have now just discovered.
I ran all the way to Dean's house. Then I realized it was still dark outside and he was probably still asleep, but I didn't care. I ran up to the door and started knocking really hard. Someone opened the door.
"Who th fuck is it? It's four 'n the morning!" It was Bobby.
I wave awkwardly. "Hi Mr, Bobby, sir."
"Why are you here so early boy?" He asks.
"I really need to talk to Dean. "
"And it couldn't wait till I don't know... six?"
"No sir I couldn't. It is really very important that I speak to Dean."
"Um, whatever. You know where his room is." He swings his arm towards the stairs.
"Thank you sir."
"Mhmm, whatever. And keep your voices down! Some people are trying to sleep in here. I mean, not me, but y'know, people who can sleep when people are banging on their doors at four in the morning."
"Will do sir. See you later."
"Stop calling me 'sir'. Okay?"
"Yes si-" I stopped mid-sentence when he starts giving me a evil glare. Then I just run up the stairs. I find Deans door and swing it open. I walked over to him and started shaking him, "Dean, I need you to wake up."
"Mmmm, I don't wanna. I wanna sleep." Dean said, rolling back over.
"Dean, I need to tell you something and I need to do it now before I lose my confidence and leave."
Dean sat up, rubbing his eyes, "Cass? What are you doing here?"
"Dean I'm gay." I rushed out.
"I'm sorry, what?" Dean said, even more confused than before.
"I'm gay, Dean. Like not straight. Not even a little straight. So so gay." I said.
"Okay...? You're telling me this right now why?"
"I probably couldn't have said it later. And I had an epiphany in the form of a dream and I don't know, I can go I just had to tell you."
I started to leave when Dean said, "No, Cas. Um, you obviously need to talk about this, so you can stay, if you want."
