Gabe's POV
Don't be nervous Gabe, just go talk to him just like any other human would do. Okay I can do this. ALRIGHT LETS DO THIS! I mentally yell at myself.
I walk over to the guy I "accidentally" bumped into this morning. When I reach him I don't say anything. I don't know what to say. Well think of something or else he'll think you're a creeper . Oh yeah. Right. I hold out my hand and say,
"Hey, I'm Gabe. Sorry about earlier." He looks confused then sticks out his hand,
"Hi Gabe I'm Sam. It's okay about earlier." It's starting to get awkward so I speak up.
"How old are you Sam?"
"I'm fourteen"
"What grade are you in?"
"I'm a Freshman, but they gave me Sophomore classes because they didn't want me to skip a grade."
"So you have super-smarts?"
"I guess you could say that, but only in certain subject."
"Cool. What other subjects do you have?" He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a piece of paper which I'm guessing is his schedule and hands it to me. I unfold it. Ding ding ding! I was correct about it being his schedule.
"Hmmm... looks like we have Math, Latin, gym, and study hall together." A small smile appears on his face.
"Only downside is you have first lunch with the seniors." People start to walk into the classroom.
"You should come sit next to me." He looks kinda iffy about it.
"Please," I say trying to do the puppy dog eyes.
"Fine, but your puppy dog eyes need some work."
"Whatever. " I lead him to the back of the room where I was sitting.

Sam's POV
I follow Gabe back to where he's sitting and take the seat to his right. He pulls out his phone and texts someone. I wonder who.
"My brother." What did he just say?
"My brother. I'm texting my brother." OMG I SAID THAT OUT LOUD!
"Yeah and that too." He starts to smile the laugh. I think I start to blush.
"Are you okay?" Gabe asks me.
"Yeah, why?"
"Your cheeks are red." Of course they are. I slam my head on the desk.
"Awe don't worry it was adorable."
Did he just call me adorable???????
"Yeah I kinda did sorry." OMG I SAID THAT OUT LOUD! I really need to stop. He's kinda cute.
"Thanks, you are too. Yeah you should stop." Then he winked at me.
No, no, no!!!! Not good I said that out loud. Nobody is suppose to know about me. Ahhhhhh! Lets hope he's not smart.
The bell rings! Thank God!!!! I pull out my notebook for this class and wait for it to be over.
