XXVIII

-Kabuto

They jumped on the large branches endlessly. The sun had set some time ago and peoples bellies were starting to rumble.
Sakura stopped, making the whole team come to a holt.

"I'm-I'm so hungry."
"We don't have any food." Naruto reminded.
"I'll eat a raw frog! I don't care!"
Naruto gasped. "Frog? Oh you're the devil."
Sasuke chuckled.
"I think we should rest. We have 6 more days to get to the tower and we need our energy if we have to fight."
"Plus we have to get a heaven scroll."
Naruto sighed. "Yeah alright but do any of you know how to hunt?"

The team was silent.
"Oh boy." Naruto scratched his head.
"What? Like you know how to hunt?" Mizo growled.
"I do actually." Naruto mumbled.
"Well at least you have one good quality."
Sasuke shot Mizo a warning look.
"I need someone to help me though."
Sasukes ears flicked. "Following you."
Naruto rolled his eyes and jumped off the branch.

Sasuke pulled him closer and connected their lips.

"Fuck I missed that."
Naruto kissed him again with his hand sliding to Sasukes chest. He tugged on the fabric.
"C'mon we need to find a creak."
"Mm." Sasuke kissed Narutos neck when he turned.

They jumped off, leaving three untrained Genin alone.

"Ugh where are they?!"
"Who?"

They looked behind to see a team of sound Genin that had completely snuck up on them. One was the woman Naruto had pointed too.. and she truly did look creepy.

"N-no one."
The only male chuckled.
"How about you give us your scroll."
"We don't have it." Mito stated.
"Oh.. too bad."

Mito was thrown into the tree with Mizo being held in the air. Sakura looked in horror.

"Now let's try this again.. where's that scroll?"

Sakura screamed as the man got close to her. He along with one of the women were thrown into the tree.
Naruto landed on his feet.

"Let him go."
The woman looked to see Sasuke and Naruto on each of her sides.
"Ooh." She chuckled. "Scary."

Naruto dropped the sticks of cooked fish and ran to try and kick her. Mizo landed in Sasukes arms with the three Genin vanishing.
Naruto clicked his tongue.

"What the hell were you all doing? Standing around looking like idiots? Your Genin! Use chakra!" Naruto lectured.
"It's not our-"
"It is!"
Mizo clenched his fists.
"This isn't training! If she had wanted to kill you you would've been fucking dead! Grow some fucking balls.. you won't last in the shinobi world without them."

Naruto stomped over and crossed his legs, facing the tree. Sasuke sighed and handed out the fish.
He walked to Naruto and held one out.

"Not hungry."
"Eat it Naruto."
Naruto huffed but took the fish and ate a bite. Sasuke sat down with his hand rubbing Narutos thigh.
"It's a turn on when your mad."

A smile pulled at Narutos lips but he turned away, not allowing it to show.

"Too bad we're in this place, I'd so fuck you."
"Do you know what a filter is?"
"Not with you."
Naruto rolled his eyes.
"Eat the fish ya fucking pervert."

Sasuke chuckled and took a bite of the fish. He leaned back, staring at Naruto as he ate.

".. is something wrong?"
"Hm? Nope, nothing at all."
Naruto looked back and laid on Sasukes chest.
"Where do you think a heaven scroll would be?"
Sasuke shrugged. "We'll just have to kick more ass."
Naruto chuckled and laid the stick down. "I can't wait to become a Chunin."

Sasuke frowned and ran his hand through Narutos hair.

"Yeah.. me too."
