Naruto stood in the front of the crowd of shinobi and villagers. Konohamaru was beside him with Sarutobi hugging him as he cried.
Iruka laid a hand on Narutos shoulder. It was sprinkling as the elders went on with the funeral and everyone laid a singular white flower down.

Though behind Naruto, a villager was sending him hateful looks.

"This wouldn't have happened if we didn't have the fucking jinchuriki. You always cause trouble, even if it isn't your doing you demon brat."
"Ignore him Naruto." Kakashi mumbled.

Naruto laid his flower down and smacked the one out of the villagers hand. Everyone looked over as the villager glared at him and Naruto looked at him blankly.

"I wasn't the cause of this. Orochimaru attacked my team in the Chunin exams before our hokage! He was after Uchiha Sasuke so if you want to blame someone than blame the Uchihas for your hokages death!"
Naruto clenched his shaky fists.
"He was your hokage but my father! I actually did my part for this horrid village by stabilizing another jinchuriki! You would be dead and so would your family if I hadn't done anything! You don't get to talk when you didn't even have the balls to try and be anything more than the fucking victim!"

Kakashi lifted Naruto over his shoulder and walked to his family. Iruka frowned as he held little Hatake Ken.
Kakashi put Naruto down and laid his hand on his head just to be sure Naruto wouldn't go back and kick that villagers ass.

"Naruto-"
"Don't. I don't give a crap that they're villagers and we're supposed to be protecting them. None of them even tried to help Madara or even tried to stop Gaara  but they give us so much crap just because Madara died an honorable death by protecting everyone from Orochimaru.
That snake deserves to die a horrible and painful death. It shouldn't have been Madara but him. I can't deal with the villagers because that's what they are. Self loathing villagers who can't stand to actually think us shinobi are human too."

Iruka frowned.
"How about we go to Ichiraku ramen... get your mind off of it."
"No thanks.. I'd rather go home and sleep."

Naruto walked off, his fists shoved into his pockets. Iruka looked at Kakashi.

"What do you do?"
Kakashi sighed and shook his head. "We can't do anything. Naruto has to let us in."
"I just don't want him facing this on his own."

Kakashi pulled Iruka into him.
"He'll be fine Iruka, if he really needs someone he knows we're here."
Iruka nodded and hugged Kakashi back.

Anko sighed from the other side of the roof. She crossed her arms as Ibiki and Kitty stood beside her.

"Poor kid, I bet he's crushed."
"Tsunade suspended him for a week, that'll probably help." Ibiki grunted.
"He'll probably only think about everything and what he could've done better." Kitty murmured.
"Oh yeah and how do you know huh?"
"Because he seems like that type of person."
"You like him or something?" Anko winked.
"No now shut up and go do your job."
"Yeah yeah~. You're starting to sound like Foxy."
"Where is he anyways?" Ibiki grunted.
Anko shrugged. "At least he isn't barking orders."
