Storm of Coldness

Chapter 6

(Gem's POV)

The Wizard flew toward the Grimlands, shivering slightly. She wouldn't have gone there in the moment but fWhip called a meeting between all the Empire rulers. Her brother wrote to her that she HAD to come. Seeing the wall that surrounded his empire she sighed and Gem landed at his chamber for meetings. fWhip was standing at the entrance, probably waiting for everyone.

"Gem, your here. Are you feeling better?" He asked, taking a step forward as she took a step, landing on the ground.

"I'm fine fWhip." She answered pushing past him, opening the door and entered. Katherine, Mythical Sausage, Shubble, Lizzie and Joel. Behind her, she heard Joey and Pearlescentmoon.  Most of them were talking except Shelby (Shubble). She was staring out the window, looking in the direction of her Empire, the Undergrove. 

Geminitay headed toward the nearest chair and sat down, feeling a chill. It was usually warm in the Grimlands but she was cold. More people arrived, except for Scott, With her head down, she wondered where he was, and what he was doing.

"Well, now that we're all here, let's discus. What have been happening, anything serious to report." fWhip said calmly, sitting down next to Gem. Sausage sat on the other side, smiling. Everyone sat down, Joel next to Lizzie, Pearl and Katherine sitting beside Shubble. Pixlriffs, with Joey.

"Wait, where's Scott?" Katherine pointed out, looking around at all the rulers.

"We'll talk about him later, ok?" Her brother said coldly. 

"Well I finished my mega base and I'm now working on the huge inside of it." Joel, king of Mezalea told them. Gem could feel the campfire inside of the building warming her up.

"Joel, honey I don't think your mega base is that important." Lizzie, queen of the Ocean Empire said, rolling her eyes. Joel made a face at her.

"Where's Scott!?" Jimmy just blurted out to fWhip. "There's something your not telling us!" Jimmy and Scott had some in a past life and they cared about each other a lot.

"Fine, you want to talk? Let's talk. As I know, Scott 'visited' Gem here and froze her! Then left, leaving Gem alone and cold!" He told them with anger laced in his voice. "Now she has a white streak in her hair!"

"It wasn't his fault." Gem finally said, everyone turning to her. "He didn't mean to hurt me."

"Scott wouldn't do that." Jimmy shook his head a few seconds after Gem spoke. "No, no, no. I don't believe you."

"He now has these ice powers, he could freeze any one of us! Scott's now a danger to the Empires!" fWhip yelled. Jimmy kept shaking his head, Katherine and Shubble looking like they didn't believe him. Gem couldn't take it. It was getting colder by the minute, her brother was saying this about Scott that weren't true. She could with it anymore. It was freezing in the room.

"fWhip!" Gem yelled, standing up. "That's not true!! That's not-"

Suddenly, a shock of coldness and pain like frost felt like it was on her, Gem thought she saw frost at the edge of her vision for a split second as she fell to the ground, eye's closing fast and seeing fWhip's worried face above her, the wizard passed out.
