THIS IS A REALLY IMPORTANT CHAPTER! -LAUR

Dylynn closed her locker door, sighing heavily. It was her first day back at school since the skating smackdown. It hadn't ended any better than it started, with Kacey and Juliette getting into a huge argument and ended up throwing punches, but she was proud that Jesse had managed to take a lap around the rink without taking a spill.
"Hey," Kacey said, rushing up to her.
"How was your night in the hospital?" Dylynn asked warily, eyeing the black eye Juliette had given Kacey.
"Fine, my mom was really pissed but the cops said it wouldn't do any good to press charges seeing as I instigated it," Kacey said, sighing heavily.
"That sounds fair, but Juliette's gonna be on warpath today," Dylynn said. "You're gonna be her first target."
As if on cue, the sounds of high heels clicked down the hall. Dylynn looked up from Kacey to see Juliette and her cronies march towards them. "Here we go," Kacey sighed. "Let's get this over with."
"No," Dylynn said, and a smirk crossed her face. "I think I can rattle her."
Kacey looked at her, impressed. "Okay, you go on ahead."
Juliette, Sasha Riviera, Jasmina Kocher, Milena Litskaya, and Mandy Martin stopped in front of the two friends, Juliette's cronies fanning out beside her in a V-shape. "Morning, ladies," Dylynn said coolly. "Do you always have to stand like geese?"
"Don't start, Matthews," Juliette snapped.
"Yeah, we're here for Kacey," Milena butted in.
"Mil! Stay out of it," Juilette said warningly. She continued, "I didn't appreciate what you did yesterday, Ondrietto."
"What I did to you? You gave me my black eye," Kacey said, pointing to her injured eye.
"You embarassed me!" Juliette snapped. "That kind of behaviour will not be tolerated."
"Who died and made you the Queen?" Kacey fired back.
"You know, Kace, I wonder how many people know about Juliette's boyfriend," Dylynn said loudly, and everyone in the hallway stopped what they were doing to stare.
Just as she predicted, Juliette's face turned pale and flushed. "I don't know what you're talking about," she said haughtily.
"I think you do, actually," Kacey said, catching onto Dylynn's drift. "I thought it was weird that you showed up to the rink yesterday. I had no idea you were dating Max Caol."
Jasmina's eyes went wide. "Jules? You're dating Max Caol?"
"I am not," Juliette said hurriedly.
"Really? I believe Max introduced you to us as his girlfriend, Juliette," Dylynn said, smirking. She folded her arms across her chest and stared her down. "Why haven't you told anyone?"
"Yeah, Jules, why not?" Sasha asked.
"I wasn't going to tell anyone a lie," Juliette snapped.
"I don't think Max thinks you two aren't in a relationship," Kacey said, grinning widely now. "In fact, why don't we call them?"
"You don't have Max's phone number," Juliette said, but she sounded nervous and unsure of herself, for once.
"You're right, I don't," Dylynn admitted. Juliette grinned, certain she'd won, but Dylynn put her phone away. "I don't need a phone number."
