" Bua meh aapse bahut gussa hu. " Janu said in her baby voice, pouting, her arms crossed over her front. ( Bua I am mad at you. )

" Arre Janu bua se kyu gussa hai. " ( Why is Janu mad at bua. )

" App mujhe chod ke chale ge. " She said sadly. Soumya's heart melted. ( You left me. )

" Acha gussa mat karo na, bua thode dino mein wapas aa jaye gi, aur bahut sari chocolate bhi le kar aaye gi. " Soumya promised. ( ok don't get mad, bua will come home in a few days and bring lots of chocolate. )

" Sachi! " Jhanvi asked excitedly. ( Really! )

" Muchi. " Soumya blew her a kiss. " ( Yes, really. )

" Yay! " She ran off towards the living room. " Papa bua wapas aake mujhe chocolate kilai gi! " ( papa, bua will give me chocolate when she gets back. )

Soumya's smile dropped. She hadn't talked to her brother in days. She had no idea what was going on in his mind, whether he was mad or not. She knew that the family had to face some embarrassment, she had read the articles and watched the videos of the media repeatedly throwing questions at her family.

" Bhai kaise hai bahbhi? " She asked. ( How's bhai? )

" Thoda gussa hai, par don't worry, he'll come around. " ( He's a bit mad, but don't worry, he'll come around. )

She sighed. Hopefully what Bhabhi was saying was right. She talked on the phone for a bit more, before deciding to go back inside. Everyone was still laughing and talking.

" Aree Soumya, sahi time pe aai ho, hum tumhare hi baat kar rahe te. " Ishi said suggestively.

Soumya ignored the look she was giving her. Frankly, she didn't wanna know what they were saying.

" Hum sab soch rahe the ki hume na sangeet ke liye ek group performance karna chahiye. Hum sab partners may dance kar sakte hai. Obviously it'll be Ishi-Adi, and Shiv-Aryan. " Shreya explained. ( we were all thinking of doing a group performance for the sangeet. We can all partner up. )

" That's a good idea. Toh practice kab shuru kare ge. " Soumya said cheerfully. ( So when do we start practicing. )

" Well abhi tak baki functions ki date's decide nahi hui hai. But why don't we start tomorrow? " Shivani explained. ( Well the date's for the other functions haven't been decided yet. )

Everyone agreed that it was a sound plan. After staying for a bit longer they decided to head back. As they walked to the cars, Soumya could tell Ishi was planning something. She was walking with Shiv and Shreya and they were whispering.

" Uh Soumya, mujhe na ghar jaana hai, aur tum toh janti ho woh farmhouse se completely opposite direction meh hai. " Ishi said when they reached the cars.

" Koi baat nahi, meh cab leh lu gi. " ( that's ok, I'll get a cab. )

" Arre uski koi zaroorat nahi hai. Veer tumhe drop kar de ga. Tumhara ghar hotel ke raste mein hi hai. Aur waise bhi. Aaya to vo Adi keh saath tha, par Adi mujhe drop karne wale hai toh Veer dusre gaddi le kar tumhe kar de ga. Hai na Veer " Ishi continued cheekily. ( There's no need for that. Veer can drop you. Your house is on the way to the hotel. And I came with Adi, but I'm taking his spot so I'm sure he can drop you. Right Veer. )
