Chapter Eight

(Leo POV)

I wake up in the middle of the night in so much pain. Aiden is asleep so I don't want to worry him. Some of the cuts opened 'Riggs' I mind link him in a panic. I start to lose blood and cough up blood he comes running into the room.

"Shit"

He says he helps me up others come in to try to heal me Prudence is on my bed. And I see Paco in the window.

"God Damit, we used so much of his blood he is struggling to heal"

One says as Riggs is holding me up. I cough up blood I can tell they are panicked. They try to heal me

"He needs more blood"

One says as she is trying to clean and stitch up my wounds Riggs looks at her.

"Take my blood he has had it before"

He says they nod Riggs hates needles he looks at me. I grab his hand he winces as he gets stuck, and they give me his blood.

"We gotta figure this out because you can't have his blood forever"

Someone says I nod they are stitching me up I'm in so much pain. I can feel Aiden wake up I know he can hear people in the room I'm starting to heal more it's just hard for me right now.

"Alright we need someone to stay in here with him"

One says Riggs nods

"I will"

He says they nod

"We can't heal you more right now"

One says I nod

"I understand"

I say they nod I see Aiden come in the room just waking up and rubbing his eyes he looks at us wide-eyed. The others leave

"What happens"

He asks I sigh

"My cuts go opened again and they are having trouble healing me all the way, and he is giving me blood since I lost so much"

I say he nods as he walks over

"Why did I not hear your thoughts"

He says I sigh

"I blocked it since I did not want to wake you"

I say he nods a member comes in with a couple of drinks for us and gives Riggs one.

"So, it will help you feel better"

They say he nods and takes it

"Thanks"

He says they nod and sets drinks down and walks out of the room. Aiden looks at me

"You should have woke me up"

He says as he moves closer. The bond is getting stronger so it's harder for him not to be close.

"You should try to get some rest"

He says I nod and smile at him. I lay down I see him take a seat by the bed and put his head on his arms on the bed. I smile I close my eyes for a bit going into a light sleep. But I'm keeping track of the time for a bit after an hour I look at Riggs.

"Riggs wake up"

I say he jumps some

"Sorry, did not mean to scare you, you need to unhook yourself because of the blood"

I say he shakes his head

"I'm fine"

He says I shake my head

"Riggs, you are sweating alright please"

I say he nods and unhooked himself. He gets up and goes to a chair in the corner in the room and sits down closing his eyes. Aiden is asleep I smile and then close my eyes falling asleep.

I wake up Aiden is still asleep I'm healed more I feel like hell but better. Having Aiden beside me is helping I don't see Riggs he walks in.

"How are you feeling?"

he asks I smile at him

"Better still don't feel the best but better"

I say he nods I sit up Aiden jumps a little bit

"it's ok"

I say to him he opens his eyes.

"Alright well Leo you're resting and staying in bed whether you like it or not"

He says I laugh

"But we have the stuff to do"

I say he shakes his head

"I'll take care of training and tomorrow we will do a meeting"

He says I nod

"Well can I at least go to my room?"

I ask he nods I stand up and stumble Riggs comes over and helps steady me.

"Let's go"

He says I nod we head to my room I yawn and stretch my arms.

"Get some sleep"

He says as I get into bed and Prudence comes over and lays down Riggs tries to pet her, and he gets hissed at

"Dumb cat"

He says as he walks out of the room.

"Alright try to get some sleep"

Aiden says I nod as I lay down.

"See you later"

I say he gives a slight smile

"Alright I'm gonna go draw"

He says I nod. He leaves the room I sleep most of the day.
