Chapter Five

(Leo POV)

I wake up and sigh I just feel a slight burn. From being away from him I get up and take a shower. I'm upset because today is the day my sister died, and I took it hard. But I try to stay strong and go on like it's a regular day. And get changed I smell breakfast I told Aiden I would give him a book. Aiden is starting to feel my emotions. So, he is getting to know me and I'm gonna work to block that out from him. I walk out I know he is up I knock on his door

"Breakfast is ready"

I say

"Alright"

I walk downstairs and get some coffee. Coffee is the most important thing. I start to drink my coffee I see Aiden come down I smile at him. We lock eyes as he comes in I smile at him. Riggs here decides he wants to be an asshole and steal my coffee. I glare at him

"Dude you just don't steal my coffee"

I say he looks at me and smirks

"What are you talking about it's my coffee"

He says I laugh and so does he. I get another cup Aiden drinks coffee as I'm making mine. I decide to make him coffee also. I grab his

"Here"

I say as I hand it to him, he takes it and gives a slight smile.

"Thanks"

I smile at him I run my hand in my hair and start to drink coffee breakfast gets done and we all get a plate. It's a nice day.

"I'm eating outside"

I say Riggs follows me I laugh "what don't want to be alone" I tease he laughs "shut up" he says laughing. Aiden comes out and looks around looking for me he locks eyes with him and comes and takes a seat and starts to eat. A cat comes running to Aiden he looks at him wide-eyed.

"Aww he is cute"

He says I smile as he pets him

"Well, that is your familiar, what are you going to name it"

I ask. He thinks for a second

"Barret"

He says I nod.

"O when will you like to start to learn?"

I ask he looks at me

"Can I learn some today?"

He asks I nod

"Alright Riggs you are in charge of leading the practice with the others"

I say he nods

"Cool"

He says I nod Riggs leaves to go talk to the others. I realize I have not given the book to him yet.

"O this is for you"

I say as I hand him the book on soulmates.

"Alright well after we are done eating, we can start"

I say he nods we both finish eating I take his plate I got myself another cup of coffee. I see him reading the book I smile as I walk over.

"Alright ready?"

I ask he nods

"Alright come on"

I say he follows me to an area that does not have anyone.

"Come here"

I say he nods and comes over to me.

"Alright wait one second"

I say he nods I grab a contraption that puts up a small barrier. We have one all around the house there is one big one around. But I want another when we are having someone new to magic.

"What is that?"

He asks I have one go around both of us.

"Well, this is to put a barrier around both of us so that way if anything happens no one gets hurt"

I say he nods.

"Alright let's get this started"

I say he nods

"Ring?"

I say as I put my hand out, he gives it to me. His power just burst out of him and getting me on the ground he looks at me wide-eyed I'm laughing.

"You're ok"

I say as I get up.

"Sorry"

He mumbles I smile at him.

"It's alright really"

I say he nods.

"Alright, we need to work on that"

I say giving him a smile

"Here I'm gonna show you something cool"

I say as I put my hands parallel each other and a ball of power shows he looks at it.

"That's cool"

He says I nod I go over stuff with him. We get some of the basics down he uses his powers he almost trips. I catch him in my arms and help him up. I give him a smile

"Alright I think we are done for today"

I say he nods. I let go of him and I hand him his ring. He takes it and puts it back on. We head inside everyone is heading in

"Leo and Riggs it's your guys turn for dinner tonight"

One of them says I laugh because I can barely cook.

"Can you cook?"

Aiden asks I laugh

"Not well"

I say 'order pizza' I mind linking Riggs he gives me a thumbs up. I grab a granola bar and hand Aiden one he grabs it.

"Thanks"

He says I nod as I go to the locked room to work on the contraption. I spent who knows how long. Riggs comes in and smiles at me.

"Dinner"

He says I nod as I get up since I'm almost done. I know Aiden has been reading it 'dinner' I mind linking him as I go down the stairs. I get food since Riggs and I just ordered pizza. and eat outside. I see Aiden and Riggs come over to sit with me I give them both a smile.

"Hello"

I say Riggs smiles at me

"Hi"

Aiden looks at me

"Hi" he says.

Sarah a member comes over with pictures I asked her to print out. They are my sister and me. She gives me them and I look at them

"They look good, thanks"

I say smiling at her and I smile looking at them. She died and I have wanted to get pictures printed to go in my room. She was killed by warlocks Riggs looks at me.

"Can I see?"

He asks I nod and hand him them.

"These look good"

He says I nod he hands them to Aiden so he can see better.

"Who is that?"

He asks I sigh and smile

"That was my sister and I. she died"

I say he nods

"I'm sorry"

He says I sigh and nod

"It's ok"

Today is the day my sister died so it's always hard because I blame myself some for not protecting her. We finish eating I'm already on edge. I always blame myself for her death because I miss her so fucking much. I know Aiden is starting to feel when we are not by each other.
