Y/N's POV

'Chunin exams are coming up..' I thought to myself with a sigh.

Naruto, noticing my sign, he asks, "What's wrong Y/N?"

I looked up from the food that sat on the table, "Oh nothing, i just have to talk to the Hokage about something." I told him with a smile. He nods and goes back to eating, while reading his book. "Let's hurry and finish, we don't want to be late now". He nods again and quickly finishes his food.

"Let's go Y/N!" He yells, already at the front door.

"ok, ok" I got up from my seat. With a snap i made the dishes disappear (cuz yk im op like that)

We got out of the house and made our way to the meeting spot. Once we got there, Sasuke and Sakura were already there. Naruto ran to them as I stayed at the same slow pace as I was doing before.

'I know that we can pass the exam because even without me they passed. The problem is Orochimaru. Obviously the S-rank ninja is going to be a problem and him targeting Sasuke is even worse. Should I intervene from the hickey or not because it may lead him to go to Orochimaru. I don't know how much I'm supposed to change. Am I just being selfish by not wanting him to leave? His leaving was Naruto's purpose to get stronger. But he can get stronger without losing a very good friend. Fuck! Ok what about the Hokage. I don't want him to die but it'll be difficult to render Orochimaru crippled for a good while without that jutsu. And then the whole thing about Lady Tsunade...'

Third POV:

"Hey what's up with Y/N?" Sasuke asked. Sakura's attention went to the said girl who was looking up at the sky in thought.

"I don't know, she's been off all morning.." Naruto said concerned.

Sakura, sensing his obsessive concern, said, "I don't think it's anything too bad. Let's go and cheer her up." She said to the boys as they nodded.

"Y/N" Naruto called out, receiving no answer from the girl.

"Y/N.." Sakura called out, again receiving no answer.

"Y/N!" Sasuke said, and yet again, no answer.

"Y/N!!" They yelled all together. This seemed to get the said girl out of daze.

"Huh? What guys?" She asked, startled.

"What's wrong?" Sakura asked

"You were spacing out, we called you like 3 times!" Naruto said. Sasuke was just nodding.

"Oh. Sorry to worry you, it's nothing a little time can't fix'' She said with a sheepy smile while rubbing her neck

There was a sudden voice that averted their gaze from Y/N to....Kakashi sensei. "Sorry for being late. '' Their sensei apologized. "Y/N the hokage needs to speak with you" He was met with silence. "Y/N?" He looked at the girl, who, like before, was in thought. He looked back to the others, only to find them shrugging. "Y/N '' He says once again, this time, she actually looked up.

"Sorry, what did you say?" She asked the man.

"Just that the Hokage needs to speak with you....um are you okay?" He asked the girl.

"YUP! I just have some time to think, i'll be fineeee" She says with a smile, although everyone could tell it was a little forced. "I'll go speak with the Hokage" And with that, she left her teammates in though.

"Did something happen?" Kakashi asked Naruto

"No, I don't think so," He replies, confused.

Y/N POV

I knock on the door and wait a couple of seconds until I hear a "come in". As I open the door, I'm met with a load of paperwork that seems never ending.

"Ah Y/N, glad you can make it" He says with a slight sigh.

"I'm glad to be here. Shall we start?" I asked.

"Ah yes. So I wanted to ask if there were other necessities that you would need, either from me or this village to assist you in building this 'gym' as you call it."

"SO far, as long as I have the space that I need , I should be able to do it on my own. With the help of my team and other ninjas that I know, they can give their feedback to see on the things I need to improve on. Of course, you'll also be able to join in and see the progress. Although I believe it would take about 2 weeks to finish."

"I see. Is it alright if I see the blueprints?" Sounded more of a demand than a question.

"Of course," I said with a smile as I handed him the papers. "As you can see there is a lot of work for the inside, i wanted it to be a place for both ninjas and civilians. Even the people who are getting treated in the hospital, to get them moving. I don't know if i need seperate buildings for those, but i wanted to see how this would turn out before planning for others, with your pirision of coarse"

"I see, this is all well thought. There is nothing else to discuss. It seems you've had this all figured out. Now, on to other matters." I looked at him confused. "How is your team."

"Oh, they're great. I feel like we're bonding even more and it seems we've become a true family."

"Ah yes,that's great to hear. I was informed that on your last mission, the one to escort the bridge builder, you've made your first kill. Well, first kills actually. You took on an entire group just by yourself." I was left uncomfortable by his gaze. "And i just wanted to see if you're okay" He says with a sweet smile.

"....I'm fine, '' I replied to him. "Your right, this is a kill or be killed world, and there's no escaping that. That's why I will work on finding peace. A place where killing isn't just second nature but a last resort. WIth peace achieved there will be no hate. Although it may be hard, and i might not achieve it in my lifetime, i hope to search for it, make this world better in any shape or form. Keep people safe, the ones I care about, the ones who help others, because, that's my nindo....my ninja way."

"I see. I'm glad to see you have such great idealistics. I hope for you to achieve that peace you're looking for. That will be all" He states, going back to his work.

"Before i go.." He looked up, "I wanted to give this to you. As thanks for letting me build the gym. It may not seem like a lot, but i wanted to give you something and i hope you would wear it." I gave him a ruby bracelet, the color that shines brightly, even with no light.

"Thank you. I'll wear it" He puts it on as I make my way out.
