Chapter Three

The news came that the company you are working for is closing because of no profit. As the head of Human Resources, your department is the busiest. You are about to go jobless and yet you have this peace in your heart that everything is going to be alright. You are so excited, you felt like God is giving you a chance for a new beginning. A real one.

So you decided, that it's time to pursue God, know Him personally, obey His commands and surrender everything to Him.

First, you ended your rebound relationship with the guy you met online, as you expected, he accepted it wholeheartedly. You know that he needs you to help him financially in return for showing to the world that you are not a loser. You had this crazy thought in your head that whoever moves on first between you and your ex is the winner.

You also promised to God not to go back to the casino industry as part of your full surrender, it's hard to keep a double standard life. You are so excited to finally start fresh, you got hired by a new company, and rented a new apartment. This is the first time that you will be living alone. Since your parent's house is three hours away from the city where you work at. You always rent a place with roommates but now you wanted to have your own space. Be completely independent.

God is the one giving you a new beginning.

You went back to the industry you used to be in before you got hired in the casino and worked with your ex. It was such a breath of fresh air for you because you did not have to fear that you might bump into them and pretend that you are okay and are happy for them.

Starting a new is not easy, especially when you have to begin from the bottom, in the casino industry you used to lead a department and manage people, but in the Customer Service industry, you have to start from scratch, prove what you can do, especially when you left the industry for three years.

But God has been nothing but faithful, He sustained you and gave you peace with what you do. He strengthens you to go on every day and kept you motivated to keep going and keep on pursuing Him.
