Today's the day.
I'll tell you.
And I will yell.
I will scream if I have to get it through your thick skull.
I walk up to you.
You're talking to your friends.
After I heard what you did to her,
I saw red.
I was pissed.
I tap your shoulder.
You turn around,
A smirk on your face.
You have no right to touch me.
I open my mouth,
And it falls out.
I yell,
And scream,
And cry.
You stand there,
In disbelief.
"YOU ARE SUCH A JERK! DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU PUT US THROUGH?!"
I yell at the top of my lungs.
"DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU PUT ME THROUGH?!"
I did it.
Finally.
And wow does it feel great to be loud.
-every girl who was wronged.Authors note:
This is a part two to poem one. The idea of the poem is to bring attention to sexual assault and harassment in my school. I'm making a page that I'll put in the woman's bathroom with these two poems in it. It's a genuine problem that needs to be solved because it's bringing so many of my friends down. I promised them I'd make it right. And I would rather die than let it go not delt with. Thank you for reading and have an amazing day stars <3
