"Why won't you kiss me it's so unfair!" Katya complained, sitting next to Trixie in the smoker's room.

"I've told you a thousand times," Trixie rolled her eyes. "I don't like that smoker breath."

"Then why do you kiss me at all?"

"I like kissing you! I don't when you just smoked."

"If you don't kiss me right now I won't let you ever do it again." Katya playfully looked at the younger woman.

"You are a child,"

"I'm not kidding," Katya grabbed Trixie's knee, smiling.

"And you say I'm the bratty one."

"We are both bratty," Katya said before Trixie grabbed her chin and kissed her.

Katya smiled between the kiss, happy that her stupid and hardly believable plan had worked. She looked into the blonde's eyes, warmth spreading all through her body. Even after all the comfort, the kisses gave her, the same thought sparked at the back of her mind. After weeks and weeks, it became unbearable to not think about it. Katya didn't want to think about it because she knew that if she overthought it she would be so nervous that she would fuck everything up. So she opted by trying to ignore it every time it popped up in her brain. She was too scared of what the outcome would be, what if she got rejected. And what would it change anyway? A title doesn't mean anything. Katya could lie to herself and talk herself out of it all she wanted but still, she came back to the same thought. She wanted Trixie to be her girlfriend.

Katya realized that this whole time, she had been looking for someone like Courtney, in hopes that it would somehow bring relief. But all the time she wasted on that search, she was blind to who stood in front of her. Trixie was a door for Katya to be happy, for a new beginning. Even if it took some months for Katya to be okay with the fact that Courtney would never be back, she was glad she did. So glad that she let herself have one of the most amazing people she had met next to her, kissing her, caring for her, and sleeping with her. Trixie was like this goddess that came in her way to pull her out of the darkness and misery she was in, bringing light and love to her life. And Katya was scared of risking and losing that goddess.

"Your eyes are so beautiful," Trixie said after breaking the kiss.

"Yours are even better," Katya said sincerely, Trixie scoffed. "What? They hold a lot of meaning and feeling, I only have green eyes."

"Green?"

"That's what you take out of what I said?"

"You think your eyes are green?" Trixie was in disbelief. "Are you colorblind or something?"

"They are green, stop trying to gaslight me."

"Katya seriously, you are such a smart woman, and you can't tell your eyes are ice blue?"

"I don't have time for this behavior." Katya stood up and smashed the cigarette butt on the ashtray.

"Look in the mirror or just ask somebody," Trixie stood up as well.

"I don't need any confirmation."

"Then you need a visit to the eye doctor."

"Who cares about eyes!" Katya opened the door. "Eyeballs? Who cares!" She said before they both walked out.

-

"I will never not get annoyed by those little fuckers." Trixie said as Katya started the car.

"I can second that, they still annoy me," Katya admitted. "Do you wanna go for ice cream or something? We got some time left before dinner."
