~My name is Y/N Blythe. I don't find my life very interesting, as a matter of fact, today is my 22nd birthday and I'm not excited at all. It's just another year, what difference does it make? ~

"Good morning, Y/N'' My mother said as she pulled back the red velvet curtains and let the sun through the giant glass window in my room. I grumbled and turned onto my side. "You need to get up. We have your big birthday ball tonight and you must get ready. This is no way for a 22 year old to act" she said. "Fine.." I said reluctantly as I let her pull the cover off me. She offered me her hand and I stood up, revealing my long white nightgown. My mother ushered me over to my desk, where she brushed my h/c hair. "Y/N, take a shower and get dressed. You slept too long and we only have so much time until the party." She then put the hairbrush down and walked out of the room. I sat and stared at myself in the mirror for a while. I never wanted to have a party, it's just another pointless year.. I thought to myself. Regardless, I stood up and made my way to the bathroom that was connected to my room. I saw that my mother had lain out a red velvet dress and a white petticoat for me. I rolled my eyes and got ready to shower.
One I had finished, I turned the water off and stepped out of the shower. I dried myself and put on the dress. It wasn't very comfortable, but I had to admit it did look quite nice. I put on the petticoat and headed out of my room and down the hall. I said good morning to our head maid, Mey Rin, and continued on. I got to the dining hall and entered. My mother, Eleanor Blythe, father, Christopher Blythe, and sister, Wisteria Blythe, were sitting at the long dining table. My father at the head, my mother next to him, and my sister a couple seats down. My father was reading the newspaper, and my sister a book, but they paused as I walked into the room. "Good morning, Y/N," my father said, smiling. "Good morning, Father." I said as I sat down in my seat next to my sister. "Look who finally decided to get out of bed and show up" Wisteria said, frowning. "Well at least i slept at all, you look like you've been up all night" I said, smirking. She scoffed and continued to read her book. "Y/N, are you excited for your party?" my father said, changing the subject. "I guess," I said sarcastically. "I'm glad" he said, and went back to reading.
After Breakfast I decided to go outside and have a stroll through the garden. I changed into a more comfortable dress and walked out the wide double doors and down the steps. I gazed at the front yard of my home. There was a long driveway that led on and on for a while until it got to a gate, and then the road. There was a guard post at the gate, but I didn't know if there was anyone there. There were two rows of large pointy green trees on either side of the road, and behind those, two pool shaped bodies of water. They each had a marble finish surrounding them. I know I had made it seem like I wasn't very excited for my party earlier, but now that it was beginning to get closer, it was starting to excite me a little bit more. "Miss Y/N, It's time for your Piano lesson." I heard Mey Rin say behind me. I had totally forgotten about that. "Oh, alright" I said as I followed her off the balcony and to the music room, where my teacher, Ms. Sutcliffe was waiting for me. "Good morning, Y/N!" She said in her usual bright and cheery tone, her pointy teeth showing as she smiled. "Good morning, ms. Sutcliffe!" I said cheerfully as I walked towards her and took a seat at the piano. I had always liked ms. Sutcliffe. She was such a funny person, and I adored looking at her long bright red hair. I also loved talking to her. Even though she was my teacher, it almost felt like she was a close friend as well. "Shall we get started?" Grell asked. "Certainly!" I said, smiling.
After my piano Lesson, it was already afternoon. The party started in three hours, so I still had some time. I thanked ms. Sutcliffe and left the music room. I decided to go to the library. I walked upstairs and down the hall, stopping at the third set of double doors, opened them, and entered the library. Our family library is one of my fathers most prized possessions. It is quite decently sized and has more books than I can count. I walked to one of the sliding ladders that was leant up against one side of the bookshelf. I climbed up and tried to find a book to read. I settled On Robinson Crusoe, one of my favorites. I climbed down the ladder and went to sit by the window. I sat and started reading. Suddenly I heard a pecking sound at the window. I looked over and saw a raven sitting on the ledge outside the glass. It wasn't an ordinary raven, however. It's eyes sparkled red, magenta, and pink. I gazed at it for a long time, it looked back up at me, until I heard someone burst through the door, and the bird flew off. I watched it go. "Y/N, you must get ready now!!! Guests will be arriving shortly". My mother said, "Alright, alright.." I said as I got up and headed to my room.
Once I got there, I settled on a red gown with black trimming on the bottom and on the sleeves, and black bows near the
