I opened my eyes slowly, and looked around at the sun peeking through my curtains. Suddenly I remembered what had happened last night. I get to see him again tonight, I'm so excited I thought to myself. Just then my mother came in and opened the curtains. "Good morning Y/N, you have a busy day today. We need to get you ready for the Ball tomorrow." Ball? What ball?? I thought. "What ball?" I asked my mother. "Do you not remember? We're throwing the festivities for your fathers friend's company's anniversary tomorrow night." What? I had no idea about this.. " You never told me that, mother," I said. "Yes I did Y/N, you must have forgotten.." I didn't forget anything, she just didn't tell me. "Do I have to be there?" I asked. "Yes, we need to set a good image for your father. Wisteria and the Viscount will be attending as well" My mother said. Wisteria is bringing the viscount?? I wish I could bring Sebastian.. I thought. Just then I heard a tapping at my window. I looked towards it in time to see a raven looking at me, unfortunately my mother heard it too. "What's that pesky raven doing there?" She said, going over to the curtains to close them, but before she could the raven hopped up and down twice, looking at me. Then it flew off in the direction of the forest. Was that Sebastian? Does he want me to follow him to the forest? I thought. "You know what mother, I'm not very hungry this morning, would you mind if I go for a walk outside after I dress?" I asked. "Alright.. just make sure you don't stay out for too long" she said. "Okay" I said.
After i had dressed and ate breakfast, I headed outside. I went to the place Sebastian and I had agreed to meet last night. I knew it was far too early, but I figured since I had seen the raven earlier, he would be there. I walked down the front steps, and turned left, walking down the gravel-like path to the forest. Once I entered the forest, it seemed a lot darker. The trees were thick above me, and my dress wasn't very warm, so I shivered. I kept walking until I finally got to the lake. The lake was very large with a bank surrounding the whole thing. The grass on the bank was a bright green with flowers of all colors speckling the sides. I began to walk along the bank. Is he here? I thought. Suddenly I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around. "Hello, Y/N" Sebastian said. "Sebastian! You scared me!" I said, laughing. "I'm sorry, but it doesn't seem that I've frightened you too much since you're laughing" He said. "did you hear everything my mother said? Is that why you wanted to meet now?" I asked. "It is, my lady." He said. "I'd rather not go to this stupid party, i was looking forward to spending the night with you..." I said. "We still could, you know." He said. "How? My mother is making me stay at the party, she says it would be bad for my image if I'm not there..'' I said, frowning. "My young master got an invite, and as his loyal butler, I will naturally be coming as well," he said. "Really? That's amazing!" I said. "But, my parents, they don't know about you... I haven't told them because they'd just pester me about you and I'd rather just not tell them about us.." I said. "Us?" He said, smirking. Wait, should I not have said that? What if he doesn't want to become an "us"? I thought. "I-I'm sorry, i-" "I quite like the idea of us" he said. I was taken aback. "Really?" I asked. "Yes" he said, taking my chin in his hand and kissing my lips. After we broke apart he spoke. "We don't have to tell them about us just yet, if that's not what you want,Y/N." He said. "Thank you, Sebastian." I said. After a couple of minutes I spoke. "We could at least dance with each other, at the ball I mean, I don't think they'd suspect anything.." I said. "My lady, are you asking me to dance?" He said, smirking. I blushed, "Well, I guess I am, aren't i?" I said. "I would love to." He said.
