now that you've finished the poetry book,
I'm going to explain why the title is Ivy Indigo.
If you've read my other works, you would know that I don't just put a title on them for the sake of having one. It needs to have some sort of significance—a meaning behind all the contents written between the pages.
[ ivy ] : Ivy, being an evergreen plant, represents eternity, fidelity, and strong affectionate attachment, such as wedded love and friendship. The ivy plant is also a strong plant which can grow in the hardest environment. It also may represent dependence and attachment, which can be seen in the way it climbs trees and buildings to get sunlight. Conversely, however, its malevolent, poison feature can cause it to be seen often as ingratitude.
[ indigo ] : It is traditionally regarded as a color in the visible spectrum, as well as one of the seven colors of the rainbow: the color between blue and violet; however, sources differ as to its actual position in the electromagnetic spectrum. To break this short, Indigo does not have a permanent place in the color spectrum. It's either diminished as a bluish or purplish color instead of being admired as its own beauty.
