First of all, I'd like to dedicate this page to everyone who believed in me and my capabilities. Before I started writing Ivy Indigo, I was actually debating if I should push through since I haven't been in any of the situations stated in this book. I was scared that I may undermine those who have experienced the themes that I've used. I do hope that I have not offended anyone. As much as I love writing fictional art, the last thing I want is creating a huge curtain that hinders my readers from seeing the reality of this inhumane world.

But my darlings, despite the cold exterior that society has bestowed upon us, do remember that there is still good out there. You might have to look a bit harder to see it, but I assure you, this earth isn't entirely full of monsters. But if by chance your search for kindness ends at the dark paths of this earth, be the kind of good that you wished people had shown to you.

If you've experienced abuse, betrayal, and pain, please do not give off the trauma you've experienced onto others. Instead, use your past as a lesson—a warning sign—whenever you see the traces of your abuse. Be the change that breaks the harmful cycle you've had to endure, be wary of being part of it.

that's all for ivy indigo

and until then,

nourish the ivy inside you; bloom your flowers, hide your poison.
