|24.| Can you hear my heart breaking?

       "If you find out anything about him, tell me. " Taehyung says and then hangs up the call.

     He is madly worried. He has no idea what to do. Jungkook has not returned home since yesterday. Last night he didn't even want to answer the phone. He has no idea what to do anymore. He still can't report to the police, because they haven't been there for 48 hours yet, although it's not long until then. So he told Yoongi to tell him Jimin's phone number (he had it for unknown reasons) and he called him hoping Jungkook was with him. But no, it's not with him. Jimin said that the bunny boy went home after seeing him and Hoseok.

      And now he has no idea what he can do. Dozens of bad thoughts come to mind. What if he had an accident? What if he was kidnapped or something? Or if it has something to do with Bogum or Mathew? The CEO hopes Jungkook is safe wherever he is, but something in him stops him from believing that. Something in him tells him that something is wrong, and that worries him even more. Last night he did not sleep at all, moreover, he went out alone in search of Jungkook. It was past midnight, and he was driving around again and again in search of him. Pointless, of course.

      It wasn't until last night that he realized how useless he could be. Only when he called Jungkook more than thirty times, but without the other one answering, he realized how useless he can sometimes be. Hell, his husband is out there, more than likely something is wrong, and he can only wait for him like an idiot. And Taehyung doesn't understand what this irony is. When he behaved like a bastard with him, he knew at least he was around him, safe. But now that he realizes that Jungkook has begun to mean something to him, he has no idea where he is.

      And that makes him think of another possible reason why Jungkook hasn't been here since yesterday. What if he just got too confused after what happened at the movie? Is that why he wanted to be a little lonely or something? Maybe he wanted to understand Taehyung's behavior? To understand exactly what is happening? Maybe he was too changeable with him all of a sudden?

     The sound of footsteps urges Taehyung to forcibly detach himself from his thoughts, and when he turns his attention to the sound of the noise, his heart stands still when he sees him. Jungkook. Jungkook with a face paler than ever, with hair in all directions, with an unhealthy lips color and cheeks smeared with dry tears. It is the first time Taehyung has seen him in such a state, and this image is heartbreaking. It wasn't even like that when he found out about Mathew and his parents, or when they were still arguing. So what the hell happened to get him in this state?

       "Jungkook! What happened to you? Where have you been? Are you hurt? Are you ok?" Taehyung begins to attack the younger one with questions, while he looks at him more worried than ever.

       Jungkook just stares at him as he continues to tremble slightly, feeling his legs weak at the same time. He would like to answer, "Yes, I'm hurt. But more than physically, my soul was torn to pieces. " But he can't do that. He can't tell him that, because he doesn't want to have to tell him what truly happened yesterday.

       The serum in the injection lasted longer than he would have believed, and after the Mathew was tired of him, after he used him to satisfy his maniac pleasures, he abandoned him, leaving his phone at a big distance of him. And Jungkook was not even able to scream for help, or call anyone. All he could do was cry non-stop, quietly, still hoping that nothing was real. But the unstoppable tremor and the blood on his hips showed the opposite, they showed him the cruel truth. He realized that he had lost not only his purity but also the joy of living.
