|21.| A second chance for love?

     "You are okay for sure? You look sick." Yoongi comments as he glance at the CEO, and the younger one just nods.

      "Yeah, I guess I have an easy cold, nothing more than that. " Taehyung comments as the other one doesn't looks so convinced.

      "You should go home earlier today and take some care of yourself. I can take care of the rest, we don't have scheduled meetings today anyway. " the older one insists again, and the other one just takes another sip from his coffee.

       "No, I am good." the younger one replies at his turn, then coughs subtly. "Have you heard anything about Matthew yesterday? Have they already let him go home? " he asks after and the other approves.

       "Yeah, it looks like his lawyer is pretty good. But don't worry, we have an even better lawyer, your father's. " Yoongi affirms and the other one looks a little lost; something that does not go unnoticed by his friend. "What happened again? What bothers you?"

      Taehyung sighs, moving his gaze to some papers on the disk. He can't say exactly what bothered him, there are several things. The fact that Mathew idiot is free until the trial begins. Or the fact that Bogum is even now extremely close to Jungkook, as both of the are in the same university. Or maybe just because he is worried as fuck about Jungkook. If he thinks a little, all his anxiety is because of Jungkook. He worries about him more and more, because he notices how easily the bunny boy can pretend that everything is fine. It's really not healthy at all. And even though Taehyung assured him that he could be himself without any problems, even if he told him that there is nothing wrong with crying sometimes or admitting that you needed help, Jungkook always tries to hide and say that everything is ok. 

       "I just... I don't like to know that Bogum is near to Jungkook. I insisted on staying home for a few days, but he didn't want to. I'm worried about him. " Taehyung admits honestly, as the older one remains speechless a few seconds.

     Wait. Did his friend just admit out loud that he is worried about something other than himself? I mean, it was pretty clear by now that he was worried about Jungkook, but it hadn't been so straightforward so far. It's pretty shocking.

      "Woah, Kim Taehyung is worried about Jeon Jungkook? Damn, it's as someone said that before. " Yoongi jokes as the younger one rolls his eyes. 

       "First of all, we are married even if it is just a... business, so he is Kim Jungkook." the green-eyed man mumbles as his friend looks at him even more amused than before. "And second, yeah, I am worried about him, nothing out of the ordinary, okay? Is just... Jungkook always pretends to be strong but the truth is that... he is weak, Yoongs. He wants to cry, but he smiles instead, and is not okay. Is not fucking okay, and I told him that. But guess what? It was like I talked with the walls!" he comments after, as his secretary becomes more serious. 

     Then he notices something in his friend's eyes that he hadn't seen in a long time. A sparkle. A special sparkle that each person has, and that lights up when we feel something strong for someone. He hadn't seen him so worried about someone for a few years, and that makes him happy. He realizes that his old friend is not really dead, but just lost among the old and painful memories. But it seems that Jungkook is slowly trying to bring him to the surface.

      A few seconds of silence, in which Yoongi tries to find a suitable approach, but then gives up and decides to say exactly how he thinks:

       "Tae, you like Jungkook, right? And don't try to lie to me again, I don't believe any of your nonsense."
