Abused Self Harming Camilo

chapter 2

Camilo's pov

I heard my mom call me and Amador down for dinner. I had developed a red spot on my cheek so Amador said, "quickly! Shape shift into you but without the red mark!" I was about to do so when I thought ,"wait! If hitting is normal then why do I have to hide the marks?" I wondered about this but decided to ignore it. Amador probably had his reasons.

We went down to dinner. Tiá had cooked tonight. "Yes!" I thought to myself. We sat down for the food. While eating dinner I was observing mamá and papí. They were acting... Weird. Mamá couldn't shapeshift but she had no bruises, there were no angry glares, and they were talking to each other. "Camilo?" Mamá asked me. I flinched at the sudden disruption of my thoughts. "yes mamá?" I responded. "you've been starting at me and your father for all of dinner, you okay?"

I didn't know what to say to that then I figured something out, "Sorry mamá, I was just zoning out." "oh, alright!" Once we finished dinner me and my boyfriend went up to my room. And everyone else kind of dispersed too.

Pepa's pov:

Me and Felix were just hanging out in my room. *sigh* "you okay Pepa?" Felix asked, I nodded. "Camilo and Amador remind me of us when we were younger." He chuckled. "heh, yeah." I leaned on his shoulder. "remember that?" We could barely go anywhere without each other. And mamá didn't like Felix that much till at least the 3rd month. a rainbow appeared over my head when I thought about it. Everyone was much quicker to take a liking to Amador. Everyone's relationship became much better after what happened with Casita and the candle.

I heard a knock on my door and got up to answer it. I saw my oldest child, Delores there, holding a deck of cards. She was in a night gown with her hair down. She does that some times now because it muffles her hearing. "Mamá, papí, do you want to play?" She asked us. Felix then said, "of course! But lets play it at the table." When we got to the table I had an idea. "Delores honey, could you grab one the spare card decks and give it to Camilo and Amador? Camilo loves card games and I think it would be fun for them to do."

She nodded, set the cards down on the table and went to grab another deck.

Delores's pov:

I went to go get another deck of cards. Mamá was definitely right. Camilo would love to play a card game with his boyfriend! I got to the place that the cards were and got one of the three decks we had. I went to Camilo's room and knocked on the door. Amador opened the door. "Hey Amador!" I said, "I got some cards for you two to play together! Seeing as Camilo loves card games!" Amador didn't saw much but just kind of snatched the cards out of my hand with a small "thank you." He then slammed the door in my face and locked it. "Rude" I thought. I went back downstairs and played card games with mamá and papí.

Camilo's pov:

I saw Delores giving my boyfriend a deck of cards. I got really excited! He then kind of slammed the door in her face. When he turned to me I blurted out, "Are we gonna play a card game! I love card games! What are we gonna play!" He then glared at me and said, "quiet the f*ck down." I immediately stopped talking. "now, we are going to play a game. Your sister said you love card games." He walked over to me and sat on the bed. I quietly said, "Can we play GOPS? It's my favorite."

He looked at me with and angry glare in his eyes. It scared me. "I'm doing something nice for you. I should get to pick the game." I was kind of sad but agreed, I mean it makes sense. "We are going to play German whist." I didn't really like that game, but I was good at it.

Timeskip

I had won the game! "IMPOSSIBLE!" Amador yelled. I flinched, when he yelled pain usually came after. "HOW COULD YOU WIN! YOU MUST'VE CHEATED!" I started to speak, "I'm so-" he picked up a card and quickly slashed in across my forehead, leaving a large paper cut that stung. It was also bleeding a lot. I started to cry. "Ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow" I said. "Stop being such a baby, it's not that bad. Also I'm leaving. Cheater." He started to walk away when he said, "oh, and, make sure no one sees."
