Ally's pov
"Als is dan coming over later???" Cat yelled from her room "yeah he is" I responded to walking into her room "you two have been spending a lot of time together" she said wiggling her eyebrows hinting something at me.

Dan and I have been hanging out a lot since I made the present for his mom. I listen to dad and therefore Dan and I have got really close dad was right I was holding back and I'm glad that I am now friends with Dan. Dan is a really sweet guy and I'm so happy every time we hang out.

"why don't you to date already like you both are really cute together" cat said " I mean he's really sweet it's just I'm not so sure if I like him in that way as I've never really been in a relationship with anyone it's probably best if I talk to dad" I responded "well if you ask me I think you to be really good together I mean Dan really likes you and that's really obvious" cat said which surprised me.

Later on

"Hey ally" Dan said when I opened the door "hey Dan do you want anything to drink?" I offered letting him in and walking to the kitchen "uhhh lemonade sounds good right now" Dan said sitting at the island "okay" I said grabbing the jug of lemonade and poured two glasses.

"What do you want to do tonight?" Dan asked "uhh idk I got to be up early tomorrow to go to dads" i said it's true we've planned a day out tomorrow even though it's a Saturday "oh yeah forgot about that" Dan said sitting on the couch "yeah so do you wanna order Chinese and watch movies?" I asked to which he agreed

Two movies later I caught Dan staring at me a couple times to which he panicked and looked back at the TV Maybe cat was right maybe Dan does like me but I don't know if I like him back I think I do but with my past I am not confident enough to start dating.

I caught down staring at me again and finally I question about it "Whatcha lookin at?" I question to which made him look my way and turn his body on the couch "you" he said confidently. "what why?" Saturday
"hey dad" I said walking in the house "hey hon I'm in the kitchen making breakfast want some pancakes?" Dead asked "yes please" I responding sitting at the island caught up in my thoughts about last night over than me accepting to go on a date something else happened.

Last night
"oh my god thank God you said yes you really started to worry me then" Dan said "sorry it took me a while I'm not really one for dating so yeah" I said playing with my hands "hey it's OK I know how you are with trust" he said smiling at me and then we were leaning in both of us and then it happened we kissed

Present
"what's got stuck in your head?" Dad asked "Dan" I said quietly looking up at him while he raised an eyebrow asking me to go on "he asked me on a date last night and I said yes" I responded quickly "really? that's great honey"dad said smiling "is it?" I asked bitting my lip the same lips he kissed last night "yes sweets your starting to trust that's amazing!" Dad said hugging me "why do I think something else happened?" Dad asked god he knows me to well "yeahhhhh" I said knowing I turned a bit red "wanna tell me what happened or do I leave that to my imagination and think that my 18 year daughter had s.."
