I'll never forget the human pack and Their kindness to me. With my stomach filled and my heart glowing, I pushed my limits to finding my pack. Today is day I will be reunited with my family, my pack. I just know it .i looked at the sky and continued to run .The sun shined bright , but not for long. I heard thunder and clashes of lightning coming overhead. I stopped to look up at the sky again. Sure enough, dark as night clouds began to curl their way into the sky.

The wind began to pick up. The leaves swirled and the trees began to dance. I shivered. And took deep breaths. I have to find shelter. And fast. I began to gallop. It wasn't easy with all the wind coming. Birds went to their nests to curl with their loved ones. Foxes and rabbits took refuge in the burrows that were scattered across the forest. As I galloped, snow began to fall. Perfect. A snowstorm, just what I needed.

I sped up my pace. Ice sliced into my paws and snow blinded my face. The wind began to scream like a human woman who had been stabbed several times. It was like a nightmare. Only this time it was real. I didn't know how long I went though that storm. Maybe hours or even days! I looked at where I was at the moment. I seemed to be on a ....ledge! And beside me was a steep drop. Hundreds of feet deep. Poking out of the side of the drop were tree roots. All of them either tangled or separate. I gulped and took one more step.

My right front paw slipped on ice and I fell of the ledge. I came tumbling down on the side of the drop. Tree Roots scratched and bruised me. I yelped out in pain though I somehow managed to grab a root by my jaw. As I did, I began to swing side by side.i banged against the dirt wall a few times. Then my body stayed still. My heart was pounding and I stared to feel nauseous. I just have to stay in this position until the storm stops. I did fell down for a long time. Maybe I was just a few feet above ground! Then my jaw started to ache. No, not now. I gritted my teeth shut. I heard something. The root I was clinging too...it began to break . Oh, please no. My eyes grew wide and the tree root broke into two. I cried out while I plummeted down. Then I was slapped onto the ground.

My whole body gave out. I stared to lose consciousness. It felt like every bone in my body was broken.
I licked my lips and looked up onto the sky. That's when I started to whimper. I was saying" mom, dad, sis ,bro? Can you hear me?please help me. I don't want to die alone. Please any body help me..." I didn't have the energy to say more. My eyes were half closed when I saw him. The... Silver creature !? My vision was blurry, but I could see enough to identify him. His golden eyes stared right back at me. He approached me slowly. My eyes began to close but then opened wide when the silver creature used his jaw to hoist me onto his back. He shifted his back so that I can lay right on top of him.

He then started to walk ahead. The snow was fogging up anything that was ahead . I couldn't see a thing, and I bet the creature didn't either. But he just kept on walking . He stopped at the entrance of a cave. It was a big one. As tall as a mountain maybe. The silver creature carried me inside into the belly of the cave and laid me down on the floor. The cave felt so warm and safe. I began to fall asleep, while the silver creature looked over me.

When I woke up, the snowstorm had ended. The creature was still there, beside me. I started to stand up. Remarkably, no pain shot through my body.
Then I took a good long look at the silver creature. The mysterious creature was actually a white Arctic fox with golden eyes and a black nose. It was beautiful. The fox then stretched and began to walk out of the cave. It turned its head and beckoned me to follow him. So I did.

As I walked outside , the world was covered in silver snow. Icicles hung over us, reflecting the arctic's sunlight. I walked out and faced the cave. It was cave that was embedded in this huge mountain! I stared at it in awe. I turned toward the fox who started up the mountain. A big rock laid beside the cave. The fox jumped onto it then into another one ,then another, then it hopped onto ledges. It turned to face me down below. It moved its head. I took a breath and CAREFULLY followed him.

After awhile, we've reached the top. The sight was breathtaking . The sun began to set over the Arctic. It shined on the snow. You could see animals that were beginning to emerge from their burrows and their nests. The fox nudged me and pulled its head toward the sky and let out a whimper. It was as if it was telling me to howl. I sat there for a few moments, then took a deep breath and let out my first howl.
AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

The whole Arctic stood still as a howled. Animals stopped , the wind stopped, time stopped, the world stopped.
I then closed my jaw. I never felt so powerful,so free.My heart raced with excitement when I heard more howls. I peaked Down from the mountain top and saw wolves down below in the ground. Not just Any wolves..... MY PACK. My mother and father, sisters and brothers, aunts and uncles, and cousins Were answering my call. All I had to do was just to climb down the mountain. Then I would be reunited with my family.I turned toward the fox, who smiled at me and nodded his head. I beckoned the fox to follow me down the mountain, where my pack was. I couldn't believe it. I was finally with them, my home.

I went through starvation, hunters, humans, blizzards, and snowstorms and had lived to tell about it.

With the help of my new fox friend of course.

This was it.I completed my mission.

I found my family

my pack.
