After a short practice with the Ducks we went to the locker room to change. "So your Fulton the big enforcer huh" I said smirking to the boy on my left "sure am Alex" he says using my dads nickname "that's reserved for my dad call me Lexi or Alexis" I say shoving my jersey in my bag "mm I like Alex better sorry" he shrugged I rolled my eyes at him "we're going downtown today the whole team to play some schoolyard you got blades" Fulton asked me "DUH" I said pulling them out of my bag, alright then bring 'em let's go join the others" he waited for me I grabbed my blades gave my hockey bag to my dad and said I was going with the team he said be home by 10 kissed me on the head and took my bag to the limo. "So what do the Ducks do for fun" I ask tightening my roller blades "well jesse and terry didn't show this time cuz well they think your cake eaters Tammy and Tommy have figure skating so it's you, Connie Avermen, Guy, Goldberg, Fulton and I" Charlie said putting his helmet on. "Let's go" Guy said taking the lead. I mainly stayed by Fulton but I noticed he was a slow skater compared to the others. "Why you going so slow" I asked him slowing down a bit. "I didn't know how to skate until a week ago" he admitted blushing from embarrassment "so bend your knees more and transfer your wait" I said turning so I was moving backwards. "Ok I got it" he did what I said and picked up a little Speed "now push more" I said turning so I was forward again. "You don't make a bad friend Alex" Fulton said looking at me "we're friends" I said dumfoundley. "Of course we are yoire a duck now and you helped me most of them see me as a big tough guy who don't need help" he shrugged. "Well everyone needs help friend" I say pushing forward and going to the front of the group and began talking to Avermen.
