Chapter 4 - Red As Blood (Harry's POV)

Harry looked at Malfoy with wide eyes, he hadn't really meant to do this to him and his scream of pain sound harsh and real.

Kneeling down he offered his hand, "I'm sorry, are you ok."

"What does it look like Saint Potter?" He panted in response.

Harry looked at him in horror as blood began soaking through his robes and pooling on the floor.

"Malfoy," He began slowly, "Why are you bleeding?"

Malfoys eyes went impossibly large, "N-no r-reason."

Harry sighed, it was clear that Malfoy was in a considerable amount of pain but was just being too stubborn to accept anything that seemed like help. "Listen Malfoy, I'm supposed to be in class and you are probably supposed to be in class also, so can you tell me what in the world is wrong with you so that we both can get out of here before we get in trouble or Snape comes and kills me?"

Malfoy sighed completely defeated, "I was bitten by Greyback, I'm a werewolf now," He paused, "Are you happy now that you know?"

Harry was taken aback, he hadn't been expecting anything nearly that serious.

"Does Professor Dumbledore know?" He asked.

Malfoy began to hyperventilate, "No, you can't tell him, he would throw me out."

"Fine I won't, but I am telling Ron and Hermione." Harry was slowly concocting a plan in his mind.

"W-why, why do you have to tell them," Malfoy was clearly panicking.

Harry rolled his eyes, "Because you obviously don't have a plan for this full moon and they might just be willing to help you.

Malfoy closed his eyes exhaustedly, accepting Harry's decision and at that moment Harry almost forgot that Draco was his enemy. He looked smaller and more fragile lying in his own blood and shaking in pain.

"Come on, let's get you off the floor." Harry's voice was surprisingly gentle.

He carefully helped Draco up and took him to Moaning Myrtle's bathroom to help him rebandage his arm.

"I'll find you later after I talk to Ron and Hermione," Harry said quietly and he left Draco.
