y/n needed someone and she didn't care who it was, and it just so happened that George was the first person she found.

"George?" She said weakly tears forming in her eyes. George whipped around exhausted from just coming from quidditch practice and was surprised to see y/n.

"Yeah, what's wrong? Are you ok, you don't look so good." He said taking a step closer to the girl while still keeping his distance. She didn't look good. Her hair was dripping and her clothes were soaking, any makeup she might have been wearing was far gone. Her shoes were making that annoying squeaking sound when she moved but her mind wasn't focused on any of that.

She walked over to George and wrapped her arms around him, shoving her face into his chest. He was a bit taken back by her actions but hugged her back resting his head on top of hers. They stood there for a while not saying a word, breathing on the same beat, and taking in each other's embrace. She had gotten George wet in the process not only from her soaked attire but from the tears now quietly making their way down her face.

y/n took a deep breath and unwrapped herself from him and just turned away to her dormitory without a second word.

"What in the bloody hell was that?" Fred said as he exited the locker room only seeing the end of their hug.

"I dunno, to be quite honest. She just hugged me and cried then left." George said as he looked at his twin.

"Yuh, weird one that one is." Fred muttered as he looked his brother up and down "Anyways you look a mess. Go wash up before dinner. I can't be seen with a less than excellent-looking brother by my side now can I?"
