"It's fine, I like talking to Deuce better."
He pouted, "You're so mean, y/n."
Laughing in response you placed a hand on your belly and pursed your lips in concern. Onyx eyes wandered to your hand as a larger one enveloped it and Ace nervously moved closer to you. He brought the back of his free hand to cup your lower back and press you a little closer to him. "Hey... you'll be a good mom."
You laughed, "As if. I really dont think I'll be the best but we'll have to wait and see."
"Come on," The fire user shook his head, "I have no doubts you'll be amazing. I know it's selfish but can you just make sure... my own kid doesn't hate me?"
He had a bad feeling when your lips quirked into a smirk and you tapped his chest with a finger. "I dont know... I'm guessing they'll be a little stubborn. You need to get over this hatred you have against Roger."
Scowling as a response, "Fine. I get extra cuddles when I get back then."
You rolled your eyes as a response. "Done."
Extending his hand out he invited you to place your own in his as a handshake, and the both of you giggled with large grins. "Pleasure doing business with you."
"You as well, Ms. Kozuki."

"Splendid. The first time my favorite Kozuki brat calls me is to take her baby because her baby daddy is out sailing and is too weak to take care of his child."
You grimaced. When it was stated like that it made both her and Ace sound like terrible people. Damn, she was always great at making everything sound way worse than it actually is. Or rather, she just didn't like to sugarcoat things like everyone else did. A stutter escaped your lips as you stuttered a response to the awaiting den-den mushi with golden eyes.
"Look, I'm sorry. I just didn't have anyone else to turn to-- and I didn't even know what a den-den mushi was until this year!"
"Uh-huh."
A wail interrupted the both of you as you gripped the snail and rushed towards the small crib. You picked up the small baby wrapped in blankets and quietly shushed him, rocking him back and forth and taking a seat on some pillows you'd set on the ground next to the wall which you leaned on. The voice on the other line was silent as if the cry of the baby had scared her into silence. Once Sabo had calmed down you continued to speak with a trembling lip. "I-I just cant take care of a child right now. I have so much stuff I'm working on for this country and uhm... this country isn't safe for anyone let alone a child. I know it's selfish but I'm begging you Atlantis please... Just at least until I can take him back."
