It is an instinct to meddle for me, not really minding how it would turn out. Going to school today, I made sure I had a game plan. As I walked down the hallway, I kept my eyes open for any signs of her. Much to my dismay, she was having a conversation with a teacher.

Diverting my direction, I walked over towards my friends, as usual, they were lurking at my locker."So is this going to be a daily thing?" I asked quirking an eyebrow up.

"Oh there is my soon to be sister" Nicholai grinned, trying to pull me into a hug.

Pushing him away, I gave him a small glare and turned to the others. "How are my favorite people?" I made sure to glare at Nicholai, hoping he caught the hint. Sadly he didn't, and he tried to side hug me again and I pushed him off.

"Amazing, mostly because of the radiation of sibling love" Montana chirped.

"Our parents might be dating, but this idiot will never be my brother." I whined exasperatedly. "Anyways, not that I care or anything, but where is Chase" I inquired trying to hide my curiosity, noticing his absence.

"He has a few things to take care of, don't worry." Matt said in a low voice, his word carrying two meanings. Noticing his abrasive tone, Montana started to rub his back. Visibly seeing him relax, I turned to my locker taking notice of the time. Pulling my locker open, I grab my books and lay back on my locker, wondering what Chase could be taking care of. The edgy tone of Matt's voice told me, it was something I definitely wouldn't like the answer to.

"Okay well let's get this Monday started and hopefully ended quickly. I have places to be, people to see, and thing to do." My tone definitely giving a hint of my intentions, if it didn't the sly smirk I wore was a confirmation. As we walked to class Nicholai kept giving me suspicious side glances, which I gladly matched with a devious grin.

"What are you scheming in that mind of yours" Evading his question, I shrugged my shoulders innocently. He rolled his eyes at me, obviously seeing through my weak façade.

I spent most of the school day thinking about how to influence them, how to make them speak to each other. To interact with each other, unlike what I had been seeing. Slight glances at each other and if caught, they would act like children who got caught with their hands in a cookie jar. I want them to realize that the cookies are free and they should enjoy them. Sadly, the are blind to their obvious infatuation for each other, it is pretty sad.

Feeling a little bit abandoned in my health class, seeing as it was the last class of the day it was extra boring and torturing. Chase is the only one I know who has this class, and normally him being here made it fun. Given the fact the teacher wasn't here yet and my lack of interest in the class I reviewed everything going on in my life.

He seemed nicer than what I was told about him on the first day, to be completely honest I was scared. Scared to have attracted a jerk. Scared to have woken some kind of beast. However he was nothing like that, he did none of the typical bad boy garbage. I haven't seen him fight, or heard of him causing trouble. Yet, I cannot say much good about his womanizing ways. The girls in our school went around speaking of how they had slept with Chase last night, how he said he loved them. It is complete bull, especially when you are smart enough to see how the times he supposedly slept with them overlapped. I wouldn't be surprised if this started at a certain Spelling Bee Queen Bryttiny, that little wench. Her motives are pathetic seeing as both Chase and I hold nothing close to romance for each other, he was a too out of my style.
