I got off the stage and went to the bar where Chase was.

"Nope save it and get your bum up there and sing boy" I looked at my phone. "We only have 30 minutes till the next class"

Once Chase got on the stage people started cheering like fucking crazy, what the hell. What does he have that I don't.

I had a feeling that song, meant some thing deeper to him.

It hit me pretty hard, I had tears forming in my eyes but I blinked them away.

The crowd was kinda silent, absorbing the last parts of the song and the meanings.

Then one guy started clapping, another joined, then another. Then it was a full on applause.

I looked at Chase and saw he was looking at me with a blank stare.

"Okay Chase lets go, we have to make it back to class in time"

"Ya" and we walked out.

"Okay?" I asked him

"Okay"

"Wait a minute. Did you just quote The Fault In Our Stars"

"No, I didn't. What are you talking about, I don't read that kinda shit" he rambled.

"Oh my gosh. You did, didn't you? And you cried, didn't you?"

"Get on the bike, and shut up."

"No tell me, did you, or did you not read it and weep"

"Okay, whatever. I don't have to take this shit" he climbed his bike, put on his helmet.

And that son of a bitch rode off, And left me.
