hi there

i really don't like making authors notes like this but i guess it has to be said bc this has been on my mind for these few days.

so:

i'm not sure how i feel about continuing this story, for now, considering jae's newest controversy.

if you aren't aware yet, he called jamie a thot live on stream saying it was a joke after.

i know he has apologized on twitter and i watched the short live he did yesterday explaining, although i still don't know whether i feel comfortable writing about him anymore.

even if it was a "joke" and he didn't know what he was saying which i'm sorry, but i doubt it. he grew up in the states and is fluent so the fact that he thought "thot = baddie" doesn't make sense to me as a non native english speaker because i even knew that it really doesn't mean the same thing...

idk if i even need to justify my reasons for this but here i am anyway..

i could take some of the things and jokes he has said on twitch in the past but i feel like this one went too far.

i'm going to take a break from this story, see how everything progresses and whether i want to in the end finish it.

this situation caused a whole level of disappointment i've never felt. maybe because jae has been my day6 bias from the start.

i really, really hope he betters himself because i do not want to be in the constant loop of him fucking up, apologizing, us forgiving, him not learning, and screwing things up again...

so with this, i'm sorry but this story is on break for the time being. this sucks because this is my first story i published and caught people's attention.

thank you guys for reading this story until this point and if i eventually return to it, i hope you read it until the end then too.
