"You're on their side, aren't you?"

~Younghyun Pov~

I shake my head at the others comment. "No." I scoff. "I just... Know Sungjin. I used to be his.. friend. And he realmt cares for his friends like a brother." I shrug. I run my fingers through my hair. "Just don't be an idiot." I sigh. Seonghwa mutters something under his breath and leaves the room.

I'm 99.9% sure he left the school too. Hopefully. The guy needs to calm down his ass.

I wonder if Jae is okay? He was crying when I started dragging Seonghwa out. I know Sungjin is with him so he should be fine.

I don't even know, why I care. What ever. It's not my business.

I let out a sigh and sit down. What a fucking day. I still have one more class then I can go home. I could go skip it and go home but the teacher really would kill me if I did that once more.

I glance at the clock. I should get going. I leave the music room. I walk tho the classroom and step inside. There aren't many people there yet but the teacher is. She likes to be there early. I sit down in my seat and look around.

When the final bell rung I was the first person oug of that classroom. Who ever invented the hellhole called school? I'm going to tie his balls in a knot for fucks sake.

I stuff my hands into my pockets and start walking to the doors to leave.

When I get out of the building I see Seonghwa waiting there with a few of our other friends.

"Have you cooled down?" I ask as I reached them. The guy nods. "For now." he humms.

We start walking away from the school. "So. What are we going to do today?" Yeosang asks. I glance at the others. "I've got a family dinner tonight so I can't make it. 미안" (sorry) I say.

I say bye to my buddies when we get close to my house. I walk up to the fancy white house and open the door. Yeah. For some dumb reason we don't lock the door. Why? Ask my dad, I don't know.

"I'm home!" I yell nd kick off my shoes. "Welcome back!" I hear my dad yell back. I smile a bit.

I quickly go get a class of water from the kitchen

My relationship with my dad is great. I can talk to him about anything. My mom. She's a different story.

"Where's mom?" I ask as I walk to the livingroom. Dad shrugs. "Probably banging some random guy." he states casually and I nod.

Yes. She is a cheating bitch. Doesn't give a shit about the family she has with us.

"Why don't you just get divorced?" I sigh and sit down. My dad shakes his head. "I can't. I'm married to her because of our parents, remember?" He sighs. I nod and pout.

"She promised to come to the dinner. Since we are meeting my friend's family we must seem like a... Functional family.. You know?" he continues. I just keep nodding. "Who are coming over? You have a lot of friends.." I ask. My dad lets out a laugh.

"True. It's a friend from school. He has a son, but I'm not sure if he's coming." dad tells me. "I think the boy might be in your school. Park Sungjin. Do you know him?" My dad asks as I start chocking on my water.

I cough for a few moments. "You okay kid?" the old man asks patting my back. I nod. "Yeah. Me and that guy. Really aren't the.. Bestest of friends. You know?" I say and stand up. "I'ma go prepare the food. Your lazy ass can help, if you want to." I smirk and quickly walk into the kitchen.

When the evening came I grew more and more anxious. I really don't want to see Sungjin. He will be shooting bullets into my head with his gaze. I just know it. The guy hates me with every inch of his body.

See, I have had a history with Sungjin. Not a positive one. We once we're.. More than friends, you know? It started in the ninth grade with us being in the same band. It ended with me cheating on him when I was at a party in the beginning of my first year of highschool. (That's also when I started my 'fuckboy' shits and got to know Seonghwa) That's why we aren't on good terms. I have tried to apologize, but the older guy wont listen to anything I say.

Soon the doorbell rang as I set the last dish onto the dinner table. Mom had come home like an hour ago, but atleast she came.

When I saw the guests come into the diningroom I bowed slightly. I made eye contact with Sungjin and smiled awkwardly. "Welcome.." I say. The family sits down. I sit down next to my father.

Of course the adults start talking together while us youngsters stay quiet. I poke at my food a bit. "How's Jaehyung doing?" I ask carefully. Sungjin looks at me, q bit surprised. "He's.. Okay. He's been a huge mess after the cafeteria incident." he sighs and I nod. "Thanks for stepping in, Kang." Sungjin sys and smiles at me. I nod again and start eating.

Suddenly Sungjin's phone begins to ring. As the older looks at his phone, he clearly becomes worried.

~Sungjin Pov~

I apologize and excuse myself from the dining room.

Outside I answer to the call. "Jae? What's wrong?" I ask right away. I heat quiet sniffling from the other end.

"My.. My parents.. Th-They-y th-threw me out ag-ag-again. And... You.. W-eh-Where areypu H-Hyung..?" the younger cried out.

"Jae. I'll be there in a few minutes. Okay?" I say trying to calm the boy down. I walk back to the diningroom and go to my father's side. "May I be excused?" I ask him. I hand the man my phone and he looks at it for a few seconds before taking it. He talks calmly into the phone.

Honestly.. To my family, Jae is like another son and he is like my brother. My dad hands my phone back and nods. "I told him where the spare key is... You can go." Dad says. I thank the old man and look at the Kang family. I bow a whole 90 degrees. "Sorry to leave this early, but something has come up." I say. I glance at Younghyun before I leave.

After I get out of the house I start running towards my own. Luckily we don't live that far away from here.

Soon enough I make it home. I go inside and quickly run to my room to find Jaehyung wrapped in a blanket sobbing.

This isn't the first time this has happened. This shit repeats atleast monthly. I seriously don't get what goes on inside his parents' heads. No parent should do this.

They throw the boy put for a few days then drag him back home. I really just don't know.

I sat down next to the sobbing boy. "What happened this time?" I ask pulling Jae into a hug.
The boy just shrugs. "I don't even know what I did yhis time. I was sitting in my room, doing ho-homework, like everyday.. My mom just started yelling at me for no reason and told me to get my stuff and get th-the fuck out.." he whispered.  I nod and tried to calm  him down. "You'll get through this, okay?" I whisper to the boy sadly. I really feel sorry for him.

Later in the evening my parents come home. My mom comes to my room to see me watching the tv and Jae asleep with his head on my lap. "I wish we could help him more. That house isn't a great place to live. Not at all." my mom sighs and sits down on my bed. I nod sadly and look down to Jae's peaceful sleeping face.

I talk to my mother for a few minutes until she leaves. I shut my television lay down and close my eyes.

"Everything will be alright."
