Chapter 7

Fourth Year

Sirius Pov-

I caught up to my friends, not uttering a word. I couldn't, all I could think about was her. I know if I started talking they would tease me cause all I'd talk about was her, but how couldn't I. Wendy Tonks, I remember her, when I first met her she was pretty, I always thought that, but at the time I was just a mindless flirt, I still am, but now an infatuated one, I can't help it.

Wendy Tonks is gorgeous, kind, smart and just perfect. I've had a few conversations with her, but I remember when she stopped responding to our hellos when we passed each other in the hallways, at first I thought she just didn't hear us, but then I noticed she would always glance and smile and Regulus, she was doing it for him. That showed she was kind.

Plus, I had seen her walking around with Xenophilius before, she would listen to him with her full attention, not caring how crazy the things he said were, like her goal was to make him feel special.

And she was smart, the way she answered Remus, she new the answer almost straight away, and she looked like she cared about school.

But don't get me started on her looks, I have never seen anyone so gorgeous, every time she meets my eye I feel my insides melt, my knees go weak. Her deep Hazel eyes are so intriguing and astounding. her face is round but strong, she also grew, her legs are long and suit her perfectly. And her hair frames her face making her looked even more angelic.

I really am infatuated with her.

When we arrived to the common room we came across an expectant James, I just brushed past him, I wanted to get to the dorm fast, I was so confused with my feelings. I heard James call after me, getting cut short when Remus pulled him along behind me, I didn't care. Flopping straight onto my bead when I entered my dorm, ignoring my friends as the filed in afterwards.

"What's going on, what did I miss?" James was asking questions, I just stared at the ceiling thinking of her.

"Well if you shut up and let me explain you may find out" Remus snapped,

James shut up.

"We were walking back and I spotted Wendy and Regulus, I dragged Sirius over as he was too chicken, and guess what, she was Wendy Tonks, remember her?"

I'm guessing James nodded as Remus continued,

"Anyway, Sirius was blushing the whole time and staring at her"

"Even blurted out that she was hot"

At this James burst out laughing, great. 

I sat up "it's not that funny, and she is hot"

"You like her"

"excuse me?"

"you like her, would you like to me to elaborate?"

"no, prongs I don't, but where did you get that idea from?"

"the blushing, the staring, the blurting out she was hot, should I continue"

I rolled my eyes and glared at him, but he wasn't completely wrong.

"I take your silence as a yes, you shyness, but your need to meet her, your day dreaming, Sirius you like her" I couldn't just like her though, I never get feelings for girls, I'd gone five years without a proper relationship not just built off sex. But I was completely infatuated with this girls.

"How do you feel around her Pads?" I turn to Remus, "well um I think she is nice and um..."

"truthfully" Peter quips.

"Fine, you want the truth here it is" I took a deep breath and continued, "when I'm around her I feel butterflies in my stomach, when I make eye contact with her my knees go weak, I could stare at her all day, everything about her intrigues me, I want to know everything and anything about her, I want to be with her all day, I want to hold her hand. And her eyes are so perfect, i could get lost in them, her smile is perfect as well, so perfect, no need to be practised their kind perfection comes so naturally and I wish for her to smile at me" I took another breath, 

"I get nervous when I'm around her and I want her to notice me more than anyone else, I want her to care for me like she does Regulus, I want her to listen to me like she does Xenophilius Lovegood, I want her to do all of that and more with, heck I'd even like to study with her"

I looked back up at my friends, they were silent, looks of surprise on their faces, probably not thinking a person like me could feel something like this. This silence went on for a few more seconds before James squealed like a little kid and tackled me back onto my bed.

"My little Padfoot is in love"

I struggled in his grip, he looked like a koala clutching to my side, "I'm not it love" He huffed along with two others coming from  the other side of the room.

"yes you are"

"no I'm not, Prongs"

"yes you are"

"no I'm not, Wormtail"

"Fine, your not"

"Yes I am, Moony"

The boys burst into laughter, realization dawned over me, it was true though, I was in love, well at least falling in love.

Moony and Wormtail jumped into the tackle, landing right on top of James and I, we both groaned at the sudden weight add, but soon laughed, I was in love. I, Sirius Black, the infamous player of Hogwarts was falling in love with a simple, but gorgeous, Ravenclaw. 

"Bloody hell your squishing me Moony, and bloody hell your falling hard Padfoot" I laughed with the other boys, he was right.

I was falling in love with Wendy Tonks.

James began to push Remus off him, me following in suit with Peter, we all went back to our bed's, letting this new revelation sink in. Wormtail speaking up first,

"so are you gonna ask her out?" I didn't know, should I, I was already starting to like her a lot in this short amount of time, what would she say though, would she accept.

"Well what if she doesn't like me back"

"because of how mean you are to her best friend, yeah maybe, but you won't know if you don't try" James stated nonchalantly, great, just another reason for her not to go out with me. Remus threw a book at his head, James dodging it.

"Well maybe you can ask Regulus for advice as he is her best friend, I mean may as well" Peter piped up. I nodded.

"yeah, but it's not like he really likes you, maybe he won't answer you and tell you to back of or something" another book was thrown at James, this time he wasn't so lucky to dodge it.

"Ow, what was that for"

"Why are you being so down, we're trying to help Sirius and all your doing is making out like Wendy won't like him back"

James looked at me and then back at Remus, "ohh, I thought we were doing a pros and cons thing and I just chose cons because I thought of a lot of ones surrounding Regulus"

"James!" Peter and Remus exclaimed, I fell back on my bed with a groan, "this will never work"

"No it will, if we don't listen to James' stupid reasons and come up with some sort of plan than it could very well work" I sat back up and we all watched Remus pick up a notepad and pen, he was really serious about this, and he came and sat next to me.

"Trying to ship me off that quickly Moony?"

"Shut up Padfoot"
