"Bye, babe! Have a good break," Olivia squeezed Bri in a hug.

"Bye boo. Hey, I want FaceTime check-ins."

"Aye aye, Captain," Olivia teased as she slid on her backpack and started rolling her suitcase. She headed towards Jordan's dorm in a denim skirt, cropped grey Nirvana tee and an oversized, fuzzy navy sweater overtop.

The semester had ended for most kids although there were another two days of finals before the weekend. The football team was getting a few days off before practice kicked back into full swing for their bowl game. Liv and Jordan were riding home together and while she was heading out for good for break, she was going to bring him back to campus at the end of his break. Jordan had already made the long trek to the student parking lot to get her car.

"Come on, Spence," Jordan cajoled as he opened his dorm door to Olivia. "Hey Liv."

She dropped her bags by the door and flipped her loose natural curls out after they had been trapped under her backpack.

"Hey. What's going on?"

"Trying to convince Spence to just let us drop him home instead of waiting for a bus."

Olivia frowned at Spencer, "Thought you had a car here?"

"My moms had problems with hers so I made her take mine until it's fixed. Or until I can get her a new one for Christmas."

"Oh well yeah, just come with us."

Spencer sighed heavily, "Fine, thank you."

Jordan's eyes bugged out of his head and he looked back and forth between them bewildered. Out of the corner of her eye, Liv noticed a nonchalant look on Spencer's face. "Are you kidding?! You've been telling me no for 20 straight minutes but Olivia asks once and suddenly you're just agreeable as hell?"

Olivia snorted. "Aw, don't be so sensitive. I'm sure you tried your best," she nodded at him in fake sympathy. He just rolled his eyes and walked to his room to get his bag.

Her eyes slid to Spencer. From his spot leaning against the couch with his arms crossed over his chest, Spencer winked at her before walking to his own room. She bit her lip and smiled.

A woman that Olivia recognized as Spencer's mom from his pictures was stepping out of his parked car just as they pulled up in front of his house less than an hour later. She walked towards Olivia's car with a couple of grocery bags in one hand.

"Hey, baby. Hi, Jordan. You must be Olivia," she smiled kindly as Spencer left them in the car to hug her and take the bags. "Hey, ma."

"Hey, Ms. Grace!" Olivia smiled and waved from her spot in the back, "Hi, Ms. James. Nice to meet you."

She smiled. "Thank you for bringing Spencer. I'm guessing you had to convince him," she side-eyed her son, knowing him well. "If you aren't in a rush, come on in for some cobbler. If Dillon did what I asked, it should be fresh out of the oven and I just picked up some ice cream."

Olivia opened her mouth to politely decline but of course her brother already had his seatbelt and the car off at the word 'cobbler.'

"You don't have to tell me twice! I've had some of the food you've made for Spencer so I definitely won't pass up cobbler."

Olivia sighed and followed him out of the car. "Thank you," she smiled at Spencer's mom who returned it as they followed the boys inside.

"So tell me about you, Olivia."

"Um well, I'm guessing you already know I'm Jordan's twin sister," she laughed nervously. Why was she nervous?? "I'm planning to study journalism and write for the student paper at GAU."
