After filling Spencer in on movies to watch for their class, they began to make small talk as they headed to the dining hall.

She told him that she went to Beverly nearby and learned that he went to South Crenshaw. She mentioned that her dad went to South Crenshaw just as they approached the dining hall doors.

"You meeting someone," he asked as he held the door open for her.

"Thanks," she smiled. "And yes, my brother. You?"

"Yeah, my roommate."

She turned to him. "Oh, well—"

"Liv! Spence!"

She frowned and turned towards the sound of her brother's voice. She and Spencer looked at each other with confused faces and spoke at the same time.

"That's your brother?" "You're Jordan's roommate?"

Jordan's waving became obnoxious so Olivia began walking towards him after one more glance at Spencer.

"Hey! You two know each other already? I invited you both to lunch to introduce you but you saved me the trouble."

"Uh, yeah. We just came from a class together," Olivia said as she sat down.

"What class?"

"Intro to Film," Spencer answered and sat next to Olivia.

"Don't tell me you're obsessed with movies like my sister," Jordan groaned. Olivia rolled her eyes, "Some people get the concept of culture, Jordan. There's more to life than football movies." She gave him a fake grin that he returned. She heard Spencer laugh next to her.

"Anyways you haven't even seen my dorm yet, Liv."

"You haven't seen mine either, sir."

Jordan had moved in early for football and he had also been stuck in practice for Olivia's move in day, so he had just met her and their parents after for dinner.

"Fine, meet me at mine... ours after football practice and then I'll walk you back to yours?"

"Fine," she smiled before standing. "I'm going to grab a salad."

She breathed deeply and tried not to panic as she walked away, twisting her rings on her fingers. Of all people, he was Jordan's roommate? It was starting to feel like the universe might be conspiring against her.

That night, Olivia waited outside her brother's dorm building for him to appear. Brianna had found her at their table in the dining hall at lunch and dragged her to meet people, so she wasn't at the table with Spencer and Jordan for long.

She was hoping Spencer had plans somewhere else but of course not, of course he was right next to Jordan as they approached her outside their building. She realized she'd spent more time with him than anyone else today at this point. "Hey, Liv." Jordan bounded up to her while Spencer nodded at her and smiled.

Jordan hooked his arm around her shoulders and guided her through the building. "How was practice?"

"Good, I got a few reps. And Spencer was balling."

Olivia turned to glance at Spencer only to find him already watching her. She quickly turned back around as Jordan stopped in front of a door.

"God, you athletes are the worst," Olivia laughed as she walked in and looked around. "Of course you have a mini apartment and your own rooms!"
