Saturday

Jon and I have been having such a good time together with our days off.  We’ve gone to the gym, the movies, Disney which was a blast. I went with Dwayne to the premiere of Furious 7 because Jon didn’t want to go. But we only have 2 days left now off until Raw on Monday. So today we are going to the beach and since tomorrow is Easter we were probably go visit some of my family if not spend it with Joe’s since I’ve known them for years.

“Jon hurry up!” I yelled.

“This is why I told you to get your things ready last night but nope you didn’t listen and now we are going to lose all the good spots Jonathon!”

“I'm coming. I'm coming!” he yelled running down the stairs. He put his towel in my bag and grabbed the car keys and my hand. Then all of a sudden he stopped and was staring at my shirt.

“Is there a problem.”

“I'm just curious I’ve never seen that shirt before for Rollins.”

“OH that’s because this is the first one doesn’t officially come out on sale until Monday.” He nodded and shrugged and continued to drag me out the door. We got into the Ford F-150 he insisted on buying a day after we got here. Finally after about 15 minutes we got to the beach. We grabbed our things out the bed of the truck and made our way into the beach. I took off my tank revealing my bikini top. I got many whistles from guys. I just rolled my eyes and Jon stood up and they all stopped. I starting laughing.

“You need anything to drink babe?”

“Yeah and iced tea would be great baby?” I smiled at him. He nodded and gave me a kiss. I sat on my towel waiting for Jon. I was texting April about what I’ve been hearing about her retiring which is true. We skyped for hours with her just telling me practically on Friday.

I looked at the time and realized Jon has been gone for about 10 minutes. I got up and walked the direction he did. After walking for a bit I saw him practically cornered by some girl. I snuck around trying to get a good look of the girl. I snapped a picture if her and sent it to April before decided to end Jon’s suffering.  I tapped the girl on the shoulder and she turned and looked at me quickly and then turned back to Jon. I rolled my eyes but this time I grabbed her shoulder and spun her to face me. She must have realized who I was because she looked like a dear in headlights. I laughed and raised an eyebrow.

“So what is going on here?”

“I um.. I… I.. He.. He came onto me!” Once she said that I started laughing even harder.

“Yeah because you having him stuck in a corner is him coming onto you. I suggest you walk away now while you can little girl.” She scoffed and ran off.

“Thank god I thought you would never come.” I laughed and he handed me my iced tea and we started walking back to our spot with his arm wrapped around my waist. We went back and I sat down talking to Jon and drinking my iced tea. All of a sudden I was picked up and realized I was being thrown into the water.

I got up and saw a laughing Jon. He was as dry as could be. Oh he is going to get it now. He turned around laughing his ass off. Oh he was definitely getting it now. I started running as fast as I could in the water. Once he realized what I was doing it was way too late. I had jumped on him and knocked us both in the sand laughing. I noticed people taking pictures. We got up and realized we were here longer than expected. So we waited to dry off before we left.

“When we get home get all dolled up princess.” Jon told me as we walked to the truck.

“Oh and what is the occasion?”

“I want to take my girl out somewhere nice.” He kissed my cheek and I blushed.

Once we got to the house I went upstairs to get ready and Jon went to one of the guest rooms to get ready. Once I was done I slipped on my heels and started to make my way down the stairs. Jon must of heard me coming because he was waiting for me at the bottom of the steps with a smile on his face.

“You look absolutely beautiful Rachel.” He kissed me on the lips. He out his arm out so I could loop mine with his. He was walking towards the back yard? That’s when I saw it. He had this beautiful setup on my patio outside. We ate and talked the whole time. When Jon got up and pulled something out of his pocket. I had no  idea what to say.

“Before you say anything no it’s not an engagement ring. It’s a promise ring. I knew I would fall in love with you from the moment we met when I was still in FCW. I just want this to be a symbol of my promise of always loving you and I will always be there for yo no matter what. You are my girl Rachel Kiersten Orton and always will be.” I grabbed his face in my hands and kissed him. He handed me the box and I opened it to see a beautiful heart ring.

“I will always love you to Jon.”
